Stats seem solid, but not outstanding, and another smallish back. Is he better than Bell/Williams/Thomas/Byrd?

Good enough to be offered by a bunch of P5 schools

Pumphrey was like 5'9 170 right? He's definitely bigger than Pumphrey

Pump was probably 155 pounds when he arrived at SDSU.

maybe we better take a look at OL will look like for next year - Our RB's are not going to be game breakers if they do not have holes to run through . Defenses are going to continue to load the box and make our QB beat them . Or make our OC come up with a better offensive game plan .
The big HS RB from around here decided to drop us and is going to UCLA .

Jacob Capra will likely start next year... Pencil him in at guard with Ismael and Gudino at center... Thomas is likely the RT...
Also possible that Dixson is back at LG and Capra at LT...

Better have a healthy OL ready to play and J . Washington . RB's and QB's do not make big plays unless the OL is controlling the LOS.
Or we better have some creative play calling from OC .

Ol. RB. QB and WR's don't matter if the offense scheme is broken and coaches won't change it.

I wouldn't count out William Dunkle as a starter next year either. That kid has a mean streak. His HS highlights show a lot of pancakes and he doesn't stop until the whistle blows. This year's OL will not be next year's OL, obviously.

Things are not looking too bad for the Oline with Both of the Capra brothers enrolling early. The team should be okay at every position in the 2-deep now having experience. It's in the coaches hands now.
I hope Thomas's rehab is going good. I don't remember what the injury was but does anybody know if He is a work in progress early season or 100% (planned) start of season? i know it's all on paper but still nice to hear something before we all go into hibernation during the long offseason.

We'll hope he improves as a Rsf as we need much OL improvement as we all know.

Really do need Dixon back and on the straight and narrow. I read that Capra was a guard at Oregon. Can he play tackle for us?

Didn't Thomas tear an ACL or something similar that takes a year to mend? Will ghe be ready for Fall ball? Will he be as mobile or effective? I'm gonna guess Alma Uluave ends up at center. The guards will be Ismael and Gudino (Dixon if he's back). Jacob Capra to win the LT spot. I'd be a bit nervous if Thomas isn't back to 100%. To my mind Spalding and Gerhard are just guys.
DL is also a concern. Cheatum will probably have to move to NT. Don't know who the DEs will be although I suspect Banks and Mitchell get good looks. There's no depth. WE do have a freshman DT coming in but how much time will get? I don't see much of a pass rush from this group.
