key is getting guys that can make the adjustment from HS ball where they are bigger then many OL to college where most players are bigger , quicker and stronger .
Need both size and quickness - not always that easy to get when the very highly rated guys are grabbed by P5 .
Sure hope Nassir is a guy that can contribute - we lose 3 or 4 DL . We had a freshmen Banks that played this year

All this gets back to the training and development of these types of players. We can not and are not able to recruit many of these types of players (P5/G5, only so many Unicorns around) We need to develop them, that means redshirt and 1-2 years full time training (bigger stronger faster) then 2 years of good production from the position. We can not be putting under sized under developed guys out in the trenches to get beat on over and over again. It's really starting to look like we need a better plan in the strength and conditioning program. The last few years between the training program and the recruiting something seems off.

Dejon Benton, DT (3star 6'2" 260Lb's) Pittsburg, Ca.
Looks like the guy that got recruited along with Sims (and I think caused them to turn Sims away) flipped on Washington St, and signed with USC at the last minute. This is Karma for the Bender flip a few years back (remember that one?) What ever happened to Bender, did he ever play for WSU?
