Has anybody got any new info on Tuttle or Modster? Like where they are (if) enrolled and if either can play next year. Looks like Modster has 3 to play 2 and Tuttle has 4 years to play. Tuttle enrolled early and used his red-shirt not sure how the credits work with sitting out requirements. Does anybody know for sure about eligibility for next.

so why are they in a big hurry to come be a QB at Tailback U ? Where Rocky still prefers to be considered a running back school - with QB as a ?

So you could become the big program difference maker. Then again, who wants someone with those lofty expectations, huh?

Duh, Turtle, a member of the National Honor Society and the Union Tribune All-Academic team, Tuttle was born in Indianapolis. His father, Jay, was a walk-on kicker with the Hoosiers (1986-89) and his mother, Kathy, is an Indiana State University graduate.

Modster, , Tuttle, ! Riley Neal was looking for a P5 team as a grad transfer from Ball State. Any news? I wonder if he would even entertain the move to a WC G5?? Keep searching!

Why do you think that Joe Green was offered last week?

Why do you think that Joe Green was offered last week? Green is a solid long term developmental QB, but we need a transfer to help us next season.

As the saying goes.
Move-on, Next man up, Work with what we have........?
I hope we bring in some type of transfer. We seem to have something going with our "younger Qb's". We could really use a little competition/game experience somewhere in the fold. Someone earlier talked about Riley Neal from Ball State Does anybody know of any other Grads/Transfers?
Riley Neal; Would be a perfect fit (Grad, can Play Now, Game Experience, Passing system, Big and somewhat mobile and has a cannon for an arm) Check out all his tapes. This guy is a stud and has a nice looking game.
Feel free to list more.
Grads and transfers are kind of off limit until they graduate or transfer out. That is the coaches can not "talk about" said student/player until officially out of the program they are from. But they still SHOULD know who's out and about and wanting to play NOW.
I think the word is out that SDSU could be a good spot for a Grad/Transfer looking for play time. This is a perfect 1 and done set-up for the right player.

We have limited scholarships this cycle, so when they offered Joe Green, the writing was on the wall that a transfer is not in the works this season. at a trial they may have said "asked and answered"... The Aztecs wanted Tuttle and were really interested in the kid from Tulare, Nathan Lamb, then they "found" Green late... If they didn't "find" Green they may have pushed harder toward Lamb... but the guy they really wanted was Tuttle... No doubt they prioritized Green over both Modster and Lamb... We will see...

The coaches know what they have in Agnew and they are reluctant to bring in a kid that doesn't fit well with the team and how they do things... That is why they passed on Modster...

Agnew struggles but this was his first real experience. If they do actually open up the offense he may be a pretty decent quarterback next year. His problems are the opposite of Chapman’s: he’s very mobile and can extend plays but his decision making is terrible sometimes. If he gets first team reps all offseason and they open the offense, not to mention improve the running game a bit, he might look really good next year.

Yet, Modster has done everything Agnew can do on the field and did a better job at it in Pac 12 play. Now he's gonna sit behind a Garbers at Cal.

If he gets first team reps all offseason and they open the offense, not to mention improve the running game a bit, he might look really good next year. Better pass protection, combined with (& perhaps largely enabled by) more "West Coast" style 3-step drop routes, would go a long way to improving Agnew's passing efficiency.
