So far they have made 2 huge deals:
Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz to the Mets for Jay Bruce, Anthony Swarzack, Jarred Kelenik, Justin Dunn and Garson Bautista.
Jean Segura, James Pazos and Juan Nicasio were also dealt to Phillies for 1B Carlos Santana and SS J. P. Crawford. Seattle is completely reworking their lineup and dumping payrolls.
The Phillies aren’t done btw, they are one of several teams looking to sign Bryce Harper.

The Mariners are going to be AWFUL next year. Dipoto likely won't survive if these moves don't work out. I don't like that deal for the Mets, either. Diaz is great, but closers aren't a premium asset, as viewed by the extensions signed by Hand, Iglesias and others. BVW thinks the Mets are actually lined up to compete....LOL.

Agreed, they will struggle to play .500 ball.
The Cano suspension, failure to overtake the A’s down the playoff stretch, King Felix’s decline, DiPoto felt the need to clean house after a disappointing season. This club was expected to challenge the Astros, however that was out of reach by late August.
Nelson Cruz could also be dealt before the winter meetings are done.

Mitch Haniger might be dealt, which would literally make them a bet to lose 90+ games.
