How is he doing this season ? My friend who knows basketball watched him play last week, he said he looked really good, feathery soft jumper, very good ball handler, and unselfish team player. He predicts with 1 more year of college ball to be a mid to late 1st round pick. Why not 1 more year on the Mesa next year.

He’s handling the ball a lot away from the basket at 6-8, that could be part of it. Let’s see what happens.

We need to go on Twitter and convince him to transfer to SDSU.

We need to go on Twitter and convince him to transfer to SDSU. That's laughable. A bunch of morons from a message board going on Twitter will have ZERO impact on where he (or any other recruit) will end up.

We need to go on Twitter and convince him to transfer to SDSU. ****************************** This comment is really bad. How would we feel if folks from a better program were urging Jalen to transfer. We would be pissed and rightfully so. PLNU gets real lucky with this guy and we are urging him to stiff them for SDSU.

If he is going to transfer to a Div 1 school to show what he can do at that level then why not us? Agree, we have to use good judgement here. Coaches would have to throw it out to him indirectly, I read earlier that there are several high major schools inquiring.

Dream scenario #2... Would Daulton and Shakur be even better than Jalen/Jaden for one-year?

Dream scenario #2... Would Daulton and Shakur be even better than Jalen/Jaden for one-year? Funny you should write this up, I was just about to do the exact thing. I think Dream scenario#2 would be much better then Dream scenario #1. #1 always seemed like a package deal, all or none so it now seems like time to move on. #2 now this would be a HUGE get for this program, maybe biggest ever (i know, only 1 year) but it would fit perfect into current system. The team would be more aggressive, better rebounding, not be pushed around by bigger teams, have better options in rotations with other players........... Don't get me wrong we could use any of or all of these players. Fun to dream Go Aztecs!

But in a dream scenario, Flynn, Feagin, Hommes, Juitson, N. Mensah with Mitchell, Arop, and Schakel off the bench looks pretty good. A fever dream scenario with Flynn. Feagin, Jaden, Juitson, and Nate looks crazy.

How is he doing this season ? Just heard they are in the D2 championship game tomorrow. Pretty cool they made it that far. Beat S. Indiana, 81-71. Will play undefeated, 37-0, NW Mizzou St. Sat. at noon for all the DII marbles. Those interested in checking out Hommes can see the game live on CBS, Ch. 8.

They won last night in semi finals - he had 20 points - was on CBSSN - he had 12 or 13 points during first half then went 20 minutes with out scoring-
They play for the championship Saturday channel 8 at noon against undefeated #1 Northwest Missouri State - Should get a better idea of how he will do against better competition
He is from state of Washington - would he be looking at the Zags if he decided to play D1 ?
Jaden played in the Mac D HS All Star game this week - he is a top 5 recruit - so IF we could get Jaden even for a year ( but doubt it ) would be best possibility

Everybody in San Diego should be tuned in rooting for these kids tomorrow. Noon, on mainline CBS. What a story... I would love to see dem Sea Lions hang a D2 natty in their gym! So Go Sea Lions! let's all show them all the love we got. It's simply the right thing to do. And it's good energy... for us, for them, for the city. Love begats love. I knew a couple Pt. Loma Bombers coming up, used to get wet at the cliffs, kick it in OB, and to see them have a shot at bringing something special to the community makes my day. And who knows - showing them some genuine love might be what gets Daulton to think about coming here for a grad year of ballin' D1 style. He's played in our gym before.

Watched the first 3/4 of the Championship game today. He's a great FT shooter but he's 1-4 from 3 pt and most of the game he had a 6' guy guarding him.(he's 6'8") Not as much of a quick release as advertised and he gets burned a lot on defense. Not sure how good he'd be at the D1 level guarding people. He can shoot when open but against this team he had a hard time getting open.

He would be a very good D1 player, but he does not have the lateral quickness to play in the NBA. I don't see him getting drafted. Hopefully he decides to become a grad transfer. He will probably have a long career overseas regardless - great player, just not NBA athleticism.

I'm told 5th year senior Hommes #1 destination is SDSU right now and he has reached out.
Adding Juiston will be a huge get, with Hommes and his shooting makes us top 25 preseason.
Jaden still leaning U of W but it's very close. With Juiston he'd get the 3/4 spot and that caters perfectly to his game.
