For all the basketball recruiters on this site, I have a questions for you guys.
How does Coleman Hawkins and Keshad Johnson compare? Would this be a great/good combo? Could they play together without a true center? I am not that in-tune with their playing styles or how they would fit in at SDSU.

He’s announcing on Saturday at 1. I’m going with Illinois for his choice. I’m an Aztec fan...so I’m going to say San Diego State... Well considering he’s only liking and retweeting Illinois stuff it’s going to be hard for SDSU to pull this off in the next 24 hours.

does MBB start practice the beginning of Oct - will be interested to hear about how AG is doing after his injury- plus the progress of Keshad J and Joel M - guys that could be battling to play the 4 position in 2020
Do hope we are able to stay in the recruiting battle for E.D .

SDSU is certainly his best chance to play a few extra games at the end of the year: The Big Dance. March Madness.
The Illini are a long ways from fielding a team that is good enough to get a sniff of The Dance. As their first recruit, he has to be wondering who his future team mates will be.

You must not have watched a lot of Illinois games last season.

They are very different players, Coleman is more skilled and a ok athlete. Keshad is much more athletic but raw offensively. Both players ideal position is the 4 tho. Does sound like Coleman to Illinois is a done deal to me. It’s a loss but given how we’ve started the recruiting year I’m not upset.

Best of luck to Coleman and as always, can’t blame a kid for making his own decision after working his way into a situation where multiple scholarship offers are on the table. Even if that means he didn’t choose us.
That being said, I personally am excited we still have a scholly in hand and think it will work out best for both sides this way.
