Flynn is a nice player and Gach is a nice prospect. there is plenty of room for both players on the roster. There are some truly stacked teams out there, I wouldn’t put our roster in that category. Here's hoping that Mr Gach sees it that way.

I have a feeling that he is waiting to see if we are committed to him or Ed Chang From what I heard a couple weeks ago Chang was high on our list and Both was not so much because it seemed he was more interested in other programs... It was also said that Chang was a little less than a 50/50 shot. I think over the last two weeks Gach has jumped ahead of Chang, but from what I have heard we would sign the two if they wanted to come.

247 Ranked him top 150 and NOW with 4-stars. 247sports.com/Player/Both-Gach-46046837basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/what-i-liked-eric-bossi-from-magic-memorial-day Down to a final three of San Diego State, Texas Tech and Utah, 6-foot-7 wing Both Gach has a chance to be a very quality late 2018 pickup. Normally at this time of year, programs are reaching for talent but Gach looked like a legitimate high major prospect on Sunday. He can really handle the ball and creates scores and open passes via the dribble. He has quickness, he can shoot and he plays with a good motor. He is a bit older than most of the competition that he was playing against so that has to be factored in a bit, but he's one of the few guys left who looks like he could play good minutes early.

For those who may know more .
If he has it down to three schools . Why play now and possibly risk injury for the 2018 season. Could he be trying to attract more schools ?

Do you think he wants to play the 4? I don't Jalen and Both are related But it will impact the success of the team, and kids want to go where they can make the dance. I'd think he's just waiting for the dust to settle everywhere after tomorrow, simply to have a more complete view of all 3 teams rosters. Or he could be waiting on Chang, who may be waiting to see how the teams he is into will shake out.

So would you guess Both is more or less likely to come to SDSU if Jalen comes back ?

So would you guess Both is more or less likely to come to SDSU if Jalen comes back ? Coug stated above that he thinks it more likely that Gach signs if our best player returns. I would tend to agree. Good recruits are unlikely to be intimidated by our roster. This program’s selling point is based largely on the likelihood of an NCAA birth.

After becoming the #1 player in the state I'm wondering if he's delaying his decision to get a better offer? Waiting for Jalen to declare? Not sure. It doesn't look like Utah or Texas Tech are recruiting anyone better (higher rated) than him so it doesn't seem like he's waiting for someone else to commit before deciding.

Utah has signed Timmy "Buckets" Allen SF 6'7 205 Compton Magic and the #1 ranked player in AZ (Gach is #2). Aztecs recruited Allen and we were in his top 4. Texas Tech has signed Khavon Moore SF 6'8" 195 5-star and Kyler Edwards SG 6'4" 195 4-star, plus 3 transfers.

Gach seems to have potential as a point guard, point SG, point wing and point forward. How the Aztecs utilize his versatility will be fun to follow.
A team mate like Jalen would help Gach to showcase his skills and talents.

Yeah I saw that but I meant that it didn't seem like he was waiting on someone elses' decision. E.g. if Texas Tech had an open offer to a Top 100 recruit in the same position it might make sense if he were waiting for that guys' decision. But since those guys you listed are already signed it doesn't seem like that's the reason for the delay so I was just wondering what else might be causing the delay. (I've never been a top 150 basketball recruit, so I can't say that I know the process very well )

His twin brother is also a very good player, although he may needs more development/discipline.
One year in a school like the one his twin brother attended in AZ, or the one Arop attended in GA might turn him into a guy that the Aztecs would like to recruit.
Don't know other aspects of his status.
JCs are calling.
