Wow. Not exactly SDSU related but... Never wouldve seen all this coming for the kid if you asked me. I'd suggest he try to get in good graces at SDSU, but not familiar with the rules that he could transfer to a "lower level of college football and play immediately". Does that mean FCS? Either way with all that baggage i dont see Rocky ever taking a chance on him. Why mess up the great momentum in our locker room right now. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/07/14/nfl-draft-pr

Even if he could be immediately eligible here, I would hope Rocky wouldn't let someone with that history join the team. Looks to me like he's had many 2nd chances.

Sad. This kid is an incredibly insane talent but can't get his act together. Takes a lot to be booted off Oregon's team of historically troubled kids.
He did graduate in June so he may be able to go somewhere as a grad transfer rather than just dropping to a FCS.
Is he worth a flyer if we have a spot - maybe; someone may take a chance on him. Usually when it's your last chance you straighten up, and his options are to straighten up or miss next year. Probably wishing he'd have turned pro last year.

Committed to Utah. If he was going to go somewhere that will keep him out of trouble this is a good choice.

Doesn't have to sit out. He's a grad transfer who was given a full release after his umpteenth issue at Oregon.

Is this the Sheriff's kid? His dad played for the Chargers, don't know if he's a sheriff. Also, his sister Dijonai is an outstanding basketball player. Just finished her freshman year at Stanford.

The Sheriff was Stanley Richard, not Darren Carrington. Oldie Out
