Absolutely good luck to all three. We have been visiting Howell for 4 years so unsure why was an offer not given? It was not because we did not have enough scholarships to offer. I think the big miss is on Wayne McKinney but happy he is staying home at USD.

Absolutely good luck to all three. We have been visiting Howell for 4 years so unsure why was an offer not given? It was not because we did not have enough scholarships to offer. I think the big miss is on Wayne McKinney but happy he is staying home at USD. In talking with Howell's dad a year ago, it sounded like the Aztecs liked him but wanted to follow his development another year & see how he played this past season. I also got the feeling that their delay annoyed the Howell's, and may have removed SDSU from consideration, even if they were to offer down the road. At the end of the day, the Aztecs may not have offered because a) they didn't think he was worthy, OR b) they knew Howell had moved on & wasn't interested in them anyway. Either way, he wasn't someone that stood out to the Aztecs nor someone they wanted to make a priority. I wish him well at SMC. I liked his game, at least what I saw of it last year in the summer league. But I'll admit, I have a hard time judging ceilings on players, and the Aztecs may have thought his wasn't that high.
