Ziegler says that a proposal on behalf of SDSU could go on the November ballot. Is that in his article or ? Yes.

Is that in his article or ? Yes. Now that I had a sec to look up the specific section... So SDSU walked away.
Now what?
The university could present its own proposal for Mission Valley, as many suggest, but it’s too late to put on the ballot alongside the SuckerCity initiative. Instead, they have suggested the city adopt a formal RFP process, like it does for most land projects, where multiple competing developers offer their vision.
The City Council could put it on the ballot in November as well, giving voters the choice of a proposal crafted from private meetings with the mayor going back nearly two years or a transparent process open to all comers, all stakeholders, all ideas. If it passes, to avert further construction delays, Wicker said SDSU would request the city “carve off 12 to 15 acres” to begin building a 35,000-seat stadium that would be completed by the 2020 football season and could be shared with a Major League Soccer team, either owned by FS Investors or someone else.

With the Mayor's endorsement of the FSI deal it is time more than ever for all of us to post the facts and shine light on the details hiding in the shadows of the FSI deal. On facebook, Twitter, and the UT's comments sections (among other places).
To quote Ronnie James Dio - Stand up and shout! Be heard! Don't let FSI and the Mayor steamroll over the people and SDSU.
I just posted the links to the stories in the UT about SDSU rejecting the deal and then the revised deal on my personal facebook page as well to let my friends in San Diego know what a bad deal it is.

And with Scott Kaplan, San Sileo, and Darren Smith ratcheting up the anti-SDSU rhetoric, mocking SDSU, and Scott even trying to loosely tie SDSU into the departure of the Chargers (via McGrory) we really need to get our message out there more than ever.
The garbage 1090 and it's hosts are posting on their facebook pages is pathetic - but winning over a lot of people. We need to post rebuttals and post the fact (and links to the appropriate stories in the UT) on our own facebook and Twitter pages now.
Don't let FSI drive the narrative on this story.
