Jaden was leaning towards SDSU in October/November. The way the season unfolded kills our chances imo. Jalen leaving has nothing to do with it because he was never coming back next year I think San Diego state and Dutcher were extremely lenient, forgiving and helpful to Jalen with regards to his legal situation. SDSU ran an offense for Jalen to shine. Jalen’s production whether good or bad was because he was put in the right position to excel by dutcher. I think we helped our chances.

Ok, this saga has been unfolding for 2 years. When will it conclude and will it be a result Aztec Fans will like?

I don’t understand why a decision would take this long. He visited the schools, knows the programs pluses and minuses, and has all the information available. Nothing more is going to be learned at this point and you can reach a point of overthinking a decision. I looked at the top 50 recruits in the country and nearly all of them have committed. If you’re truly a one and done talent you’re only going to be at the school for a few semesters anyhow. Hope he picks State but it’s getting annoying and borders on him looking like a Diva.

He certainly will care what sort of guys he will be playing with on any team. Do you think that he wants to play in MM in what is likely to be his only college season?
He may be waiting to see how the Aztecs situation develops. His Bro may be saying that a front line of Mensah and Juiston could be his best opportunity, once Juiston's landing spot is known.
He won't want to waste his only chance at the Dance. So, wait a while and see how the situation develops. The smart move!

From everything I've seen/heard Jaden is anything but a diva... he's hardly on social media for crying out loud. As described by his brother, he's a low key guy who hardly talks. Reminds me of another great Aztec personality

I would welcome another Aztec extemporaneous orator in the mold of Calvin Coolidge, especially a "one & done."
I would even settle for a "two and he's through."

Very likely he wants to see what roster will look like at All the schools he is looking at before he needs to make a decision

Let the kid select his school on his timeline. Not sure why that annoys you. No one should be pressured to make major decisions

He is no where close to being a diva. If anyone is a diva, it is the one ranting on an internet message board regarding a complete stranger's decision on where he will go to college.

No, I’m not a diva, just asking why it would take so long to make a decision that 90% of other top 100 recruits have already made. He’s not the only one affected by this decision nor is he the only one with a timeline. SDSU, or any other school in his final list, needs to react if he doesn’t choose them and the sooner we know the easier that process will be. He has been priority number one for a long time and if this effort is in vain, our coaches need to be able to reallocate resources ASAP. I’m not advocating pressuring anyone, he’s had well over a year in this process and his damn brother went to SDSU! What else do you need to know? At some point you gotta just be a big boy and make your first big life decision.

Jaden gets to make this "big boy" freedom of choice decision whenever HE chooses to do so. After all, it is HIS life. If he wants your input he will indubitably visit this website for a dollop of your uncanny wisdom.

He will wait till after the draft and then go play with Jalen if not a first rounder.

He will wait till after the draft and then go play with Jalen if not a first rounder. Jalen hired an agent, so even if he doesn't get picked in the draft his college eligibility is done

It's more likely, he's waiting to see who's leaving what programs to get a better idea of how much playing time will be available. Some highly skilled kids decide to stay in school when they don't make it as far in March Madness as they had anticipated. Some of them want to come back and finish what they started. Of course, some of those same kids change their minds again once enough time has passed to soothe their wounds. Given his highly sought after skills, he's not really losing anything by waiting a while.
Him not caring how that affects the schools isn't selfish on his part, it's just looking after himself first, which is what every D1 sports program does anyway.

In five years he sees himself with "a big house and lots of cars."

In five years he sees himself with "a big house and lots of cars." He needs to use a little more detail in that remark. I live in Ramona and there are tons of “big houses” with a lot of “cars.” What is missing is that the cars are in the yard and most of them don’t run. The houses need a new roof, dual pane windows, heating and air and so on.
