Well. When you take care of those that don't or can't pay their way, YOU pay for them. Great system, huh? My nephew's premium jumped to over $900.00 per month and he and his friends are furious.

The bad news for Obamacare advocates keeps rolling in, including rates going up and insurers leaving the exchanges.

That is how the system worked before the ACA was implemented. If you show up at the ER you get treated. The cost gets spread around to those who pay. Part of the purpose of the ACA was to get those who couldn't get or couldn't afford insurance into the system instead of going to the ER. What is wrong with that?

Well, I guess if it would work the way it sounds like you think it would be OK. It is not working that way. The workload on The ER seems to be about the same with a lot of the same people uninsured now as before. The added cost and burden on the insured and newly insured has added cost and we still have the illegals. Even my Primo coverage cost has gone up and we have a few things we had to change.

A lot of that workload are because of the thieves we call illegal aliens draining the healthcare dollars. Among other things they are stealing.

They do wait until they are really sick to go in which both is more costly and time consuming but also exposes the public to whatever these folks hesitate to get treated for. Not just a drain on ER resources but also a public heath risk concern.

October 3, 2016 | spkrryan.us/2dMPM2k________________________________________ This weekend marked the third anniversary of the rollout of Obamacare, but there wasn't exactly much to celebrate: • “Near ‘Collapse,’ Minnesota to Raise Obamacare Rates by Half” (Bloomberg) • “Four states will have one Obamacare insurer” (Washington Examiner) • “In many counties, consumers will see higher premiums and fewer insurers...” (The New York Times) And in a newly published interview with New York magazine, President Obama says: “In my mind the [Affordable Care Act] has been a huge success, but it’s got real problems.” Yea, not exactly the rousing valedictory President Obama expected to be delivering in his final weeks in office. The good news is, there is a better way. In the weekly Republican address, Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price, M.D. (R-GA) discusses our plan to repeal Obamacare and replace it with real, patient-centered solutions. Take a look: ________________________________________ Our plan—read it now at better.gop—includes: • More choices and lower costs. Our plan gives you more control and more choices so that you can pick the plan that meets your needs—not Washington’s mandates. • Real protections and peace of mind. Our plan makes sure that you never have to worry about being turned away or having your coverage taken away—regardless of age, income, medical conditions, or circumstances. • Cutting-edge cures and treatments. Our plan clears out the bureaucracy to accelerate the development of life-saving devices and therapies. • A stronger Medicare. Our plan protects Medicare for today’s seniors and preserves the program for future generations.

Ole was hunting geese up in the Minnesota woods. He leaned the old 16 gauge against the corner of the blind to take a leak. As luck would have it, his foolish dog Dawson knocked the gun over, it went off and Ole took most of an ounce of #4 in the groin.
Several hours later, lying in a Duluth hospital bed, he came to and there was his doctor, Sven. "Vell Ole, I got some good news and some bad news. Da good news is dat you are going to be OK. Da damage vas local to your groin, dere was very little internal damage, and I vas able to remove all of da buckshot."
"What's the bad news?", asks Ole "The bad news is dat dere vas some pretty extensive buckshot damage done to your pecker. I'm going to have to refer you to my sister, Lena ."
"Well, I guess that isn't too bad," says Ole. "Is your sister a plastic surgeon?"
"Not exactly," Sven says. "She's a flute player in da Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra. And because all you have is Obamacare, She's going to teach you vhere to put your fingers, so you don't pee in your eye."
