Starters: Malcolm Thomas Billy White Kawhi Jamaal Xavier Thames Ludicrous you don't have Marcus Slaughter as a starter. He is probably the 2nd or 3rd best player we've ever had. His last year 05/06 per game averages: PTS - 16.5 REBOUND - 11.0 ASSISTS - 1.9 STEALS - 1.2 BLOCKS - 1.0 Backup your choices with stats please.

Thames Franklin Leonard Slaughter Thomas
Hard for me to not pick our 3 draft picks, Malcolm who made it to the league a few times, and Slaughter who killed it at SDSU and has had an incredible career in Europe.

I know this is an All Star team exercise but no player has been more important to the growth of the program than DJ Gay. He bridged the gap from the wild and unpredictable Aztecs to a program that knows it will win and knows how to win. He set the tone for the program that still rings true today. Tough D, timely shots, play in control and never give up. I need to put him on this list somewhere.
Also, he doesn't score, but Skylar Spencer has been a rock that allowed us to win on many nights when we couldn't score a lick.

He just does not compare with J. Frank, Heath, Thames in almost every category. Agree, I really wanted to put Sky Spencer on the 2nd team, but sorry Malcolm Thomas is way more of an asset on offensive and could block shots decent.

The OP putting Kyle Spain in over Chase Tapley boggles the mind.

The OP putting Kyle Spain in over Chase Tapley boggles the mind. Kyle Spain plays SF, Tapley is a G. Came down to position strength. Let me ask you this... Is Tapley better than Thames or Wade? Also here is Spain's stats for the 08/09 season (his best) average: PTS - 14.0 REBOUND - 5.3 ASSISTS - 1.4 STEALS - 1.3 Tapley stats for the 11/12 season (his best) average: PTS - 15.8 REBOUND - 4.3 ASSISTS - 2.3 STEALS - 1.8

The Oracle is going off of straight talent on this list:
PF: Abukar C: Holcomb SF: Leonard SG: Evan Burns PG: Thames
This would be a final 4 team.

OP specifically said 05-15 - so Burns/Holcomb/Fuax/etc are not eligible.

J Frank isn't really a SG like everyone is putting him as, and Heath wasn't a PG. This squad would be incredible all at their natural positions

I had almost the same lineup but chose JF as my "SG" ahead of Heath, but it was more about picking who I felt were the best players, period, and less about position. Not to split hairs, but Malcolm is not a natural center either. More athletic and mobile than Slaughter to be honest and more a natural 4. Regardless, I will never argue with anyone throwing Bottoms on their all-time Aztec team. Comes down to personal opinions at this point. A few years back it was very easy to throw down your top 5, even of the Fisher era as a whole. Just about everyone would have the same answer. Program has had a lot of tradition the last 10+ years and it is now a topic that will give you quite a few different responses. That is an awesome thing.

1st Team:
Abukar Slaughter Leonard Heath Thames
2nd Team:
Habel Thomas White Franklin Williams
I'd put Hemsley in as a second team PG...but I wasn't sure if we were doing current team.
Yes, I have 3 forwards and not a true 3 on the second team...but those 3 forwards can do everything: be big, play defense on all positions, create offense, etc. However, Richie Williams would probably average 10 assist a game with that kind of athleticism on the floor with him.
