UNLV came back to defeat (by 20) Chaminade today... but were down 37-33 at the half.
What can we do to show our support for the fine job Dave Rice is doing?
100% UNSOLICITED piece of advice to the Aztec coaching staff: It would be a mistake to play anything but zone vs. UNLV.

Yawn, it's better for the conference and SDSU if UNLV is good It's better for UNLV if UNLV is good. Not so much for the conference. Losing to a good UNLV team is never going to trump beating a mediocre UNLV team (in terms of ranking, RPI, etc.). |

I've never been a Dave Rice apologist, but I kind of expected our guys to start out slow against Chaminade. Zimmerman didn't play because there is a flu bug going around that has affected a lot of the team, plus the emotional let down from having lost a close game the night before and then having to turn around just 15 hours later and try to get up for playing a team like Chaminade. I was really proud of the way the guys played the 2nd half and Derrick Jones and Pat McCaw are just ridiculous. I think they'll play more inspired against Indiana today. Not predicting a win, just a better performance.

UNLV further responded by beating a highly ranked team. What will the Tecs do? I guess we can see what happens tomorrow. I say Cal by double digits. |

If you have a severely retarded kid you still have to love em' right? The Aztecs have an offensive disability that other teams like UNLV don't. I've been really crass about not recognizing it. I'm all for spotting stdsu ten extra points at the beginning of each game to take some affirmative action on this. Life's about helping those less fortunate. |

We better be careful . Lets take a look at the records of UNLV and the Aztecs after we play this Vegas T . We also lost first round at home of Vegas T to Little Rock .

You are like the 5th grader who never paid attention in class and kept missing the assignments. I'm beginning to understand how you missed out walking with the six grade graduates. Please be a proud Rice supporter; please sign him to a long term contract. Seriously, Aztec fans love Dave Rice.
