Why aren't we making a strong push to land this kid...his father played at SDSU
We need a center...he is still undeclared..is it too late in the game?
He has and is considering U of Houston out of all places..yahoo shows us with no offer on the kid
How is that possible?

Many of us have talked about him for a while . From the sounds of it believe he has told the coaches he is not interested in SDSU . Do not know Why ? We have not had the best of luck with former SDSU grads or locals . But also remember guys now do not want to be told where to go to school by their dad . Not sure where he actually stands with the quality P5 schools , believe he has been told they will get back to him . Houston is the G5 school in Texas his home state . As you say , can not hurt to make the call ,or would guess it has been made numerous times.

I was just about to post a comment very similar to the one standiego just posted. There's no doubt that our coaching staff is aware of Allen. Many reasons for them not to make an offer. Maybe he's told us that he's just not interested in coming to SDSU. Maybe he isn't willing to make the comment, or hasn't shown the ability, to play defense that we require. There may be some personality problems that wouldn't make him a good fit here. We don't know and probably never will what the reasons are that he hasn't been offered. I completely trust our coaching staff in their evaluations. If there is some reason they haven't offered Allen, I'm sure it's a good one.

The attraction has to be mutual. If there's not attraction, you can't force the issue, no matter how good the kid is.
