All kinds of sports events happening on Sept 5th, a plethora of choices. The San Diego Gulls having an "end of summer" block party on the 5th from noon to five, let's see, hockey fans unite after a long hiatus, then swing to the Q for the Sky Show, maybe even catch a football game. www.sandiegogulls.com/san-diego-gulls-host-first-annual-end-of-summer-block-party-on-saturday-sept-5/I've always maintained the Gulls could become a wildcard if the Aztecs continue to flounder and with the schedule crystalized I'm pleased to know I can catch the inaugural game in San Diego....even if I'm on crutches. |

And you will only have to miss one Gulls game, since the Gulls and Aztecs are both at home on November 14. |

San Diego is an absolutely fantastic sports town.
It's just not a very good local sports town.
