Nice work, Rams. They're doing the right thing and we, well, just love being the Charger lap dog.

Nice work, Rams. They're doing the right thing and we, well, just love being the Charger lap dog. Let's see, on-campus stadium, total $238.5 million, maximum capacity, 41,000; seats, 36,000. Who's choice was it to be the "Charger's lap dog"?

Not clear what your point is, but my bottom line numbers breakdown like this: San Diego Chargers: Zero Long-Underachieving SDSU Football Program: One Good morning. Actually, I guess what I'm saying, for better or worse, is I think we need to remove the Chargers from the conversation. They have absolutely NOTHING to do with Aztec past, present or future. As the conversation APPEARS to shift to the possibility that the city and the Bolts will rise above what has been to now, children pouting, and actually determine if a new NFL stadium is indeed possible, (for ANY NFL team), the 2015 edition of Aztec football enters the season with more questions than answers. Business as usual. NO ONE had a clue how abandoning Aztec Bowl for a new state-of-the-art stadium would impact the future of Aztec football. There was never a thought given to what could make the on-campus stadium more viable. Again, NOTHING to do with the Chargers. But now, the only issue is, an NFL stadium proposal is on the table for discussion. That's all the city is concerned with. Never once, has a serious conversation regarding the future of Aztec football been part of the equation, except on this board. There's a reason for that. I generally find your posts interesting, but sometimes I feel you speak in hyperbole and you have me scratching my head. To encapsulate, Padres get a new stadium and they still suck. Chargers get a new stadium, Aztecs remain in the shadows, Aztec get a new stadium will they still suck? Me, I'm traumatized by the fact I'm scheduled to be in theATL when the Gulls open their season. Figures.
