Believe the other factors are considerably more important to the athletes . Proud those are the reasons he chose SDSU , Yes it does not hurt to have decent weather / location and he talks about that last , as an after the fact .

Wonderful article. Communicates beautifully what SDSU MBB is all about. Attitude and actions lead to esteem which promotes winning and success. Easy to be proud of this program.

Again, each kid has his reasons, they differ greatly with each one. Exposure, P/T, location, family feel, weather, "feel," fit, coaching, facilities, team reputation, league, chances to go to the NCAAs, the NBA, relationship with.AAU/HS coaching, even shoe deals, etc. Some or all of these things matter to each kid, differently.

interesting article from Zeigler at UT . Recruits do look at the way coaches use players , style of play and then getting them to NBA Every player prioritizes different things. Rabb prioritized staying close to home over everything else. Some prioritize relationship with staff; some with a or several players, etc. It varies. usually includes multiple factors. if you read kenpom and his commit likelihoods you can see his mathematical formula for what Impacts recruiting, which includes winning %, fit! potential PT, etc. some may actually value the level of education. But everyone is different.

Has been officially enrolled and attending classes . Coach Fisher talked how the Aztecs watched him play last year when Arizona played Mizzu and he had 15 points( at the T in Hawaii ) , thought he was very good player . Narain and he played on an All Star team together few years back, was his host when MC-C visited , very helpful in recruiting him . Also helped that MG-C likes the way Aztecs used K. Leonard when he was here ( one of his favorite players )

Could be the best signing since Malik Pope and WSIII. But Germ may have something to say about that.

Quite the good get huh folks? This young man offered by some very good colleges out of high school. Missouri, Baylor, Kansas, The Ohio State, Illinois, Memphis, Michigan State, Purdue, Providence, Wichita State and West Virginia. Welcome to the Mesa Teki! Some have said his level of play dropped off some during his freshman year when he had a injured back......just remember how a bad back can affect ones play from when it happened to X. I think he will a fine player for us.
From his former Huntington Prep Coach:
"Having the opportunity to continue coaching Teki is tremendous, not just for me, but my entire family, because we developed such a strong relationship during our two seasons together at Huntington Prep," Fulford said. "Teki is certainly a talent, but he really is a better person. Our fans will see that once they get to know him. He is such a genuine young man and has an engaging personality.
Gill-Caeser averaged 16 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season for the Irish. According to Rivals National Basketball Recruiting Analyst, Eric Bossi, Gill-Caeser will add rebounding and toughness to the Mizzou roster.
"I've seen some Earnest Ross comparisons and I think those are pretty good," said Bossi. "He is a small forward who is strong and tough. He will board and he will play defense.
