Ya got a link to where/when he said that? thx (I must have missed that email) I don't have the link (though you can search for them on youtube/goaztecs/mighty 1090 etc). It is information he has given during interviews over the last several months on the mighty 1090. I don't listen to talk radio. It's no better than reading the nonsense on this board and truly a HUGE waste of time. The only difference is that those talking heads get paid to discuss stuff even if they don't know anything about it.

Your generic answers don't cut it. I'm asking for specifics as to what they've done. Your "investing in major enhancements" - HOW MUCH? WHAT DID THEY DO TO CHANGE THINGS? Your "trying new things" oh boy..that says a lot. Improving the student-athlete experience- Your "staff additions" who? what do they do? Hey, as I said, Unlike you, I've got far more important and enjoyable things to do with my 24 hours/daily than to hang on every word that comes out of Fort Montezuma. If you can answer the specifics than do so. If you can't than admit you don't know.....for once. So instead you spend your time CRITICIZING everything you think happens with SDSU without actually paying attention to what actually IS happening. Makes perfect sense.
Game day experience: WE HAVEN'T HAD A GAME DAY big guy, so why don't you wait & see what's going on. They've reached out to students & season ticket holders to get feedback so they can implement improvements; they have entertainment before EVERY game including DJ's, bands & other events. There will be Gigtown, carnival rides for kids (now at EVERY game), student tailgates, even things like Car club displays.
And if you really want to know what's going on with the game day experience, fork over the money to get into the Champions tent, enjoy the food & drink ($15 per game is an amazing deal for food & unlimited beer/wine), sample some vodka, and take a few minutes to talk to all the people with the AD dept who are hanging around the event. Get a CLUE.
Improving student experience: over $1mm towards COA, not only one of the only schools in the entire conference but among ALL G5's to do this for ALL scholarship athletes; completion of JAM center, the recent addition of the softball clubhouse, weight room upgrades, and the assistant football coaches are as good as we've had.
Instead of bitching & whining and asking what's been done & being a burden to everyone else on this board, why don't you take a proactive stance & actually check it out yourself? Google can be a friendly tool, as can the phone. Or hit the Champions tent at Aztec Village & figure it out for yourself.
I've forked over more than my share of $ over the years and now I have NO interest in going to the Champions tent. You spent 5 minutes typing a bunch of "I have my head up Sterk's darkside" instead of answering the questions. So, you don't know the answers either. I know what they've done in the past but once again I'm asking what are they doing different this year. Just say "I don't know" or don't say anything. Some of you are so predictable. I can always count on it.

I can always count on it. I know you're not that clueless. See everything in bold above for things that are happening THIS YEAR! Even you have to know that raising money to cover COA (or TCA) just recently happened.
As mentioned, before bitching & whining why not actually attend a game & see if anything's different? If nothing's changed, then bitch & whine, which I'm sure you'll be more than happen to oblige.
It's also been stated over & over on this board that donation levels have never been higher which, last I also checked, included several months THIS YEAR within the fiscal cycle.
Talk about someone being predictable.... I know you're better than that.

It was interviews with Sterk himself; he gave the answers to the questions you asked during the interviews. I already paraphrased his responses but you are more than welcome to search for the interviews yourself. I only listen to AM radio podcasts while I am driving so I don't have to listen to commercials and pick only the content that interests me. The Mighty 1090 app & goaztecs app are great; check them out.
