Uh, Bryce Quigley was more athletic than this kid and we made him a tackle. I'm assuming we make him a big blocking body at TE but he doesn't look very strong, nor quick footed. Coach Hall should turn this "kitten" into a tiger.

That 40 time has to be a typo. I could walk a 5.53.

That 40 time has to be a typo. I could walk a 5.53. That's got to be true. I guess 4.53 would be legendary at 6'6" 253 lbs. 5. 03 would be my guess. Can anyone find some video of this kid?

Love the commit on 2 fronts: 1) QB means he's relatively mobile, especially for someone that size who's converting to TE; and 2) if Stanford is even sniffing in his direction he has talent. That's TE University, and even being in their consideration set means a lot, even if not yet offered.
It also could mean if he blows up & Stanford offers we could lose him - that's a tough offer for any kid to turn down.

He'll end up being an OT for us. You can watch his tape and that 40 time looks legit. UNR offered him as an OT and I'd bet that's what Stanford is looking at him for as well. I'm betting Stanford won't offer.
