The BIG football conference has decided to go to 9 conference games in 2016. In addition schools will schedule at least 1 OOC game against a P5 school and NOT schedule a game against a FCS subdivision school. Rumor has it the coaches , all voted against the idea.

Time to target the middle and bottom(Purdue, Indiana, Illinois, Rutgers, Northwestern, Maryland, Minnesota) of the BIG for HnH scheduling agreements.

"Twin Cities" are fun. One of the best places for someone (male) if single. Ahhhhh my years with Honeywell...

And how about Kentucky, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Iowa State, Syracuse, Colorado, Texas Tech, and Pittsburg. SDSU should be able to hold its own against every one of those schools (at least given their current strength) and would likely beat quite a few of them. But, and this is a huge BUT, we must insist on a home-and-home deal. AzWm

We need to schedule and beat the bottom feeders in the P5 conferences to elevate our program to the next level.

I think this works out better for the G5. Each of their teams will probably schedule 2 G5 teams to take the place of an FCS team. I doubt they'd schedule 2 P5s in their OOC scheds.

with 9 conference games in 2016, some BIG teams will get 5 home conference games , but then only 4 in 2017 .... so will want at least 2 or more home OOC games every other year .
As mentioned the Middle to Lower level BIG teams will be looking for teams they can Beat in OOC, to try to get bowl eligible , not likely to schedule teams that can beat them. The better teams, may want middle level teams they can beat . Lower level P5 schools should get some interesting calls from the BIG schools .
