# 36 for Malik! Not bad for a guy who didn't start as a freshman, averaged 14 minutes per game (eight most minutes on the team), and didn't have any any post-season conference honors.

No Shep is not a good sign at all for his draft prospects. He is going to have to put up a big season to have any shot of even being picked in the 2nd round.

Pre-season polls have little bearing on the draft. This applies to both Malik and Shep. They'll rise and fall purely on their play, not this poll.

The NBA tends to draft on potential over production...if Pope declares he is a 1st round pick for sure. Shep is in a touch spot, for him production and improvement in his overall game will need to be huge and even that probably won't be enough to get him drafted.
