Okay, then we're done here. I'm glad we had his chase. Feel free to continue stalking Me too! You'll be a great looking trophy on the wall. I'll put you right next to the "Bigmouth Billy-Bass" mount WTH?!

I'm pretty sure MOW did not get a coveted position he applied for in the SDSU athletic dept and has now made it his life's work to tear down the people in charge. It's a classic scenario with all the tell-tale signs, which I'm sure MOW will vehemently deny. EBT payments are undoubtedly nearing their terminus. Let's allow the speculation to continue....although I think we can now officially call this thread derailed. Nevertheless, I do appreciate your sense of humor missiontrails. Good wit, even though caustic at times. OK I was wrong - deflection rather than denial.

Swing passes and tosses to the TEs shouldn't be the staple of our passing game. That will not stretch the defenses. Our running game will be even more effective if defenses have to be aware of our deeper passing game. Sure you have to throw to the WRs some, but our strength is power football, which means long drives. Disagree on stretching the field. If we can show we can pass short and intermediate that does "stretch" the defense as it means someone on their D has to cover TEs as well as WRs. Remember last year when we almost could not throw at all and some opponents (Fresno) were able to line up close to LOS? That cost us that game. Horton plans on correcting that. That said, I was at the New Mexico game and they tried it but DJ got about 250 yds anyway thanks to great blocking. You only need to go over the top a couple of times early to get the D honest (especially if you connect). The deeper the pass the less efficient the pass. If you have a couple of good pass catching TE's it wreaks havoc on the other team. Escobar definitely stretched the field at times, btw. I'm not saying we have another Escobar on the team, but if they have wheels then they'll be effective. Plus, we may need them to establish the passing game if our WR's don't step up.

Gavin Escobar was the best TE I've ever seen at State. We stole him from right under the nose of the Pac 12. These guys are not him, but they are good hands guys without his speed. They will catch the ball 5-7-10 yds and go from there. The catalyst is Jeff Horton's knowledge and creativity to use what we have. Can't wait to see how our new offense unwraps. But, you might not see much vs USD. The fun plays will begin Sept. 12 hopefully.

At what point will you finally realize we all, and by all I mean all, get you don't like Rocky as HC anymore? Must it appear in every single thread on this board? How about you complain to the AD and President of SDSU at will and stop interjecting this line of thought in every thread that aren't about the HC/AD/President of SDSU? How about every time you feel the need to interject your boring fire Rocky conjecture into a thread NOT ABOUT ROCKY you take the time to email Rock/Sterk/Hirshman. You are becoming a bore and that's truly sad as you've brought much to the conversations in the past. Instead of addressing the valid point I made about the "power" topic, you jumped off-topic to attack me. Interesting. Why would you assume I've not written the leaders? You feel I'm not capable? You obviously do not know me. No, no, I'm sure you have. My point is the thread wasn't about RL when it started yet you made it about RL in the end as you seem to do in all threads regarding football. It's really tiresome because we all understand you don't want him as the HC anymore. My point is campaign the administration each time you feel the need instead of us here on this board all the time. I don't ignore your posts because other than the RL injections into every football thread you have good information and opinions that I enjoy reading. But, damn man, you make it hard to get to the other good info and knowledge that you share.

But, damn man, you make it hard to get to the other good info and knowledge that you share. I appreciate your measured response. I think you'd find that many of the remarks that flame your ire, are my responses to someone else. You'll never find me "attacking" a poster, in any form, unprovoked. And you'll never find me jabbing, or slamming a player, no matter how poorly they perform. But since I feel so strongly that we are heading for total irrelevance without some intervention, AND since football IS the inspirational and financial force--in my opinion--at SDSU, I feel the alarm bells need striking OFTEN. Having said that, I respect your opinion and your reasoning and will consider how it can be employed.
