Doesn't it help our recruiting (even if it's a little bit) if SC struggles? No, we're going to lose players to $C if they want them no matter what, Oregon on the other hand...we actually have a chance recruiting against them. The top athletes are going to be lining up to play in that offense. I bet Kelly hauls in a monster class this season. I think he pulled in Kenjon Barner from our backyard, i could be wrong.

Phil Knight doesn't need to pass any of my money onto Kelly!

I just love watching Chip Kellys offense. It's amazing how in sync they are, how few mistakes, in that zone read offense. Very attention detailed. As a football purist, you gotta love it. Dude can coach. Kelly is yet another reason to DISlike Oregon. Ever heard him interviewed? He's the biggest deadpan bore since Bill Belichick. Really, I just don't like the University of Oregon generally. If you talk to Oregon State grads they'll tell you how UO grads look down on them for being from the "state" school despite the fact that if you check the academics ratings of the two, Oregon State actually looks superior. It apparently has a lot to do with OSU being viewed as kind of that state's version of UC Davis, with a veterinary school and programs in agriculture whereas Oregon has programs in what are considered more intellectual pursuits like library science. Since I hate elitists, I hate Oregon.

So far, Oregon has looked like the best team in the country. However, this game against USC could end in an upset. Much as I dislike the University of Spoiled Children, I have to respect their football tradition and know that on any given Saturday USC is capable of beating any other college team in the nation.
