I know that some of it is my impatience but are there like just two guys working on the JAM Center? I'm amazed at how slowly they're doing the front of the building. Does anyone know how much room there's going to be around the courts? I know people have kidded about the length of the courts but I thought that someone with a bit of credibility mentioned that there wasn't going to be a lot of room outside the dimensions of a normal sized court. When you have lots of money you can build things quickly.

Well it appears they had to be creative to fit the baskets inside the building.

You sound like you're the one who's going to be in there practicing with all your concerns.

Well it appears they had to be creative to fit the baskets inside the building. Those pictures don't show the actual baskets. Look at the way the court is going. Those baskets are on the sideline, and most practice courts have side hoops like that for individual drills and such. They are not the actual baseline hoops. Those pics show that they haven't even been installed yet.

I think he is referring to the cut-outs in the walls to fit the support for the basket in terms of getting "creative". These posts about whether or not they'll have enough room are absurd. I am going to go ahead and assume they know that there needs to be room for basketball hoops in a basketball practice facility.

Hey, a month from now it's scheduled to be completed!!! For those of you who live down there, are they starting to work on the landscaping now? That'll be the finishing touch.

Zeigler on 1090 today . He was given a tour. JAM center is one of the 10 best in the country . Great job of branding , has everything the coaches feel the players will need and more , with out being ridiculous . Going to a be a very welcome feature for both programs . As noted should be on time for soft opening 8/17 then a more formal opening could be scheduled for September .

JAM center is one of the 10 best in the country. According to who? Anybody who has visited more than just the JAM Center?
