I'm going to click on this link. It has been at least a month since I've had any Win links, and it will just be this once before I go back cold turkey. I haven't even been drinking. I am doing this hoping to prove to myself that I can, and hopefully the link is a reasonable piece about an actual GOP plan. Will report back.

Eh.
Pubs can't use reconciliation to change the tax credits, federal subsidies, or pre-existing condition coverage requirements.
It's overreaching to make solely political points and wouldn't change the ACA, but even IF GOP leadership could get their soldiers in line this Georgia-Roe bill would end up costing us a lot more money with virtually no improvements...
I'm happy to see actual words on a page signifying a minimal level of republican trying, buuuuut... try again?

P.S. I am okay. I made a strategic decision on clicking the link and it is indeed a valid article about a valid topic. I hope that I am able to stay strong in regards to the usual troll links.

I guess that means that if you cannot afford health insurance, eat cake!
Competition across state lines might introduce competition in the traditional 80/20 market but not the HMO market. HMO's are the primary providers of healthcare in So Cal.
Liability limitation (malpractice caps) have been in place in California and Texas for decades and have not reduced the cost of healthcare.
I give the Pubs credit for finally publishing something. However, they might want to propose something that provides healthcare to ALL Americans.

They mention that the proposal is not perfect and invite amendments. A far cry from the "you must pass it to see what is in it" approach of the Dems and Obama. Something is going to happen soon if the Supremes rule the way I think they will on the ObamaKare issue before it. It will be clearer by the end of the month.
