Not being critical in asking since I can't keep up with technology anymore but how can these types of guy possibly legitimately estimate these things all the way down to 1% one way or another? What's next, tenths of a percent? This is what I included in an early thread about this method. -=-=-=- Also, I just finished reading the 'formula' for how these percentages are generated and it is pretty interesting. It is based on an economic term 'Utility Maximization' where 'Utility' in this case is basically the satisfaction level from attending a certain school. It factors in a schools 5 year win%, proximity from recruit's home, potential playing time, players sent to NBA from the school, graduation rate (parents look for this one), facilities (arena, practice facility, TV exposure, etc. -=-=-=-

Believe June and August are "quiet" time for coaches . So not that much recruiting is allowed . July is Evaluation Peroids; where a coach can "evaluate but not talk to a recruit in person" and so there are numerous AAU events or other games played. Plus a recruit and family can come visit a campus - The evaluation periods are July 8-12 , 15-19 , 22-16, other then that, July is a dead time for recruiting . So look for guys to move up and down the ratings until the end of July. Would guess many visits are set up for fall , up to the early signing time second week of November.
Then September through October , plus first week of November are full recruiting time . Visits , direct talks .... need to maximize each visit .

At least ESPN's NCAA b-ball page is full of tweets and posts from guys saying they heard from teams after midnight, etc., and a lot of new offers.

They may have changed the "Evaluation Period " to start on June 15 and have certain days in July at sanctioned events. Evaluation Period , coaches can travel to events to watch the recruits play , but NOT talk to them face to face, at the events . They can call or use Social Media to chat with recruits. Also think recruits and families can stop by a campus for a look , would guess they can talk with recruits on the campus. So Evaluation Time is a very busy time for recruits and the coaches. August is "quiet" period , maybe only communication is be "phone or social media " Would presume that during August you set up your Live Recruiting times / visits , as September through the first week in November is your last recruiting time before the Early signing week in November . So for the next 45 days Aztec coaches are evaluating , set things up and getting ready for the final push for Early Signing week . Try to line up home OOC games , when recruits may visit . So it could be another reason our OOC has not been finalized . Each step in the recruiting during the summer is vital for trying to land the guys we hope to land . Early signing period is 5 months away but time moves quickly and the recruiting battles for even visits can be a struggle . NCAA rules are very specific on times for each part of the recruiting process . There is a specific Calendar that the NCAA puts out. There even were rules that no more then 1 coach from a school can be at an event , believe they can switch off so two coaches could view players but not be at the same place the same time ?
