According to someone in the comments of that video (obviously not a reliable source) he was held back twice in 8th grade, so if that's true he's actually older than your average 13 year old 8th grader. But regardless thats pretty incredible

But regardless thats pretty incredible According to the USA Today article he's "barely 14 years old" as a Freshman in HS. That "someone" in the comments section is talking out of his arse. Regardless of age, that vertical is world class!!

I have a grandson who turns 14 next week and he will be a high school freshman this next academic year.

Yeah, in 8th grade you're 13, turning 14 either sometime during that year or during summer. I have a summer birthday (which was always a "late" birthday growing up), so I was 13 that whole year and turned 14 before my freshman year of high school. The way it's supposed to work is that you're 13 at the start of 8th grade, and people turn 14 during the year

My B-Day is in November, so I was 13 in High School.

So you are reinforcing what I just wrote.

Considering his father is a registered sports agent, it isn't surprising he lives in Encino. However, for those familiar with the San Fernando Valley, Sierra Canyon HS is located in Chatsworth. That said, gotta think if he's truly interested in a professional hoops career - and wouldn't he be? - that there's no way he will remain at Sierra Canyon, which is a small ritzy school for kids from wealthy families which won't allot him the kind of competition needed to elevate his game.

By far one of the top players in the class of '19.
PoP @premierball 2019 SG Cassius Stanley (CA) on a nice roll in the eve session. 2 threes & a polished, dribble drive and kick for the assist. #PangosAACamp
