Look at the family history, Shabazz went pro after one (bad year) at UCLA. Rashaad wouldn't get a look at the NBA playing on a 2-28 SJSU team. He is a 6'6" volume shooter, I bet he will go to a P5 school who wants a scorer, it will better his chances of playing at the next level. 17.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a freshman is a bad year? And, Shabaaz was 2nd team All-American, first-team all Pac 12, first team freshman all-american, and co-Pac 12 freshman of the year. In all fairness, he had trouble passing the ball and playing defense.

Never thought about it before, but what are the chances Rashad is the potential transfer Steve Fisher was talking about a week or two ago.

I remember when JJ transferred from Utah (sorry, Honey Vadge) the rule did not come into play because Utah was leaving that year for the Pac 12.

I didn't know The MWC ever had a 2 year rule.

I didn't know The MWC ever had a 2 year rule. Then I could quite possibly be FOS, which wouldn't be the first time. Maybe what I am recalling is that that's not Fisher's M.O., but he did it in JJ's case because Utah was leaving the conference?? That sounds more feasible.

Last heard he was at DePaul for a visit, that was 2 weeks ago. Any new, news? He is probably prohibited to transfer in conference, but the team is going to need shooters.

According to Jeff Goodman, currently on visit to Miami and Canes are the frontrunners. I'm just not seeing ACC... twitter.com/GoodmanESPN/with_replies

Good for him if he lands in the ACC, the kid is a volume shooter...but may not get to play as much 1 on 1 at the U.
