If so, cancel Carson and get to work with CSAG. And you can terminate Mr. Policy. That will save a lot of $$$$$$$$$ which can be put towards a new stadium.
Easy to do, if you're speaking true.

Easy to do, if you're speaking true. and I repeat, as long as the Rams are moving forward the Chargers and Raiders will too, no matter what. They'd be foolish to not protect their interests no knowing what the fools in San Diego are going to finally come up with and vote for. They could go as far as fill out the papers to move and not move. That's just reality. If you owned the Chargers would you do any different?

Why would they say anything different?
It is the same premise that SDSU has. They want to appear to the public that they support a long term stadium solution in San Diego while at the same time planning viable options/contingency plans to protect their interests.
However, what they say to the public and what their real intentions and plans may be are kept close to the vest.
This goes for both the Chargers and SDSU.

Wow...a Charger thread on the Aztec's general message board...that is such a rarity... it's a stadium thread and a response to those pinheads who said they've never heard Dean say he wants to keep the Chargers in San Diego. All 3 Spanos' have spoken but of course the naysayers have some other crap to respond with.

of course they're gonna say they want to stay, they still want to keep the San Diego fan base even if they move That's weak. Most Chargers fans won't follow the team to Carson or L.A. and that's a fact! (Unless of course if they are one of the few who live there already)

(Unless of course if they are one of the few who live there already) I hope that's true but I'm pretty sure they'll try to keep that fan base and hope to increase it with the LA fan base. I hope no San Diegans go to the games in LA though. But I'm sure you'll see advertisements in the San Diego market for season tickets once they move to LA.

I hope no San Diegans go to the games in LA though. But I'm sure you'll see advertisements in the San Diego market for season tickets once they move to LA. I'm sure some would but hardly any. With the recent purchase of the SD UT by the LALA times, I have no doubt ads would be down here. I know that won't sway me. I've got the NFL Channel on Directv and can watch any game I want to. The Chargers would be smart to market their suites to the casinos in Vegas no matter if they are in SD or LA. All casinos spend money entertaining their high rollers. I know of one Vegas casino who owns a suite at the Q. 1 is a drop in the bucket compared to how many there are. It seems they really haven't done a good job selling what they have but then again Q Suites suck and are hardly of quality to the type of $$ the casinos have. I'm off on a tangent and will stop at that. If the Chargers moved to LA and either then Rams or Raydas did too, the Chargers would be hard pressed to draw 40k in LA. It's obvious nobody up there cares about the Bolts over the Raydas or RAms. That's very visible when they show the crowds in Carson for their rallys. They'd lose the majority of the San Diegans because who the hell wants to fight Sunday traffic on the 405?

It's very hard to read sarcasm into what someone ( I don't know) writes especially when they don't bother to use the smilies in their post indicating sarcasm. Actually I assumed you missed the other threads and was just pointing out that they were there. thx

Don't think ol deano is going anywhere now. Dude needs to pay 250 mil in relocation fees. Lol The NFL is just starting analysis on the relocation fee. Nothing has been set. "We are not very far along in that," Grubman said. "They are just sort of designing the analysis, and we’re debating the different ways it can be looked at, and the different time frames it can be looked at. My best guess is that a relocation fee wouldn’t be defined until well toward the end of the process.” espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/18706/nfl-taking-closer-look-at-los-angeles-relocation-feesThe NFL makes the rules on relocation and they are not likely to make it difficult for owners. The fee could be paid in different ways and over a long period of time. It won't prevent the Chargers from moving. "Relocation fees figure to be a big part of the equation, and though they won't likely be enough to prevent anyone from moving, the potential cost of a relocation could give some pause, especially if that tag reaches the exorbitant prices some are projecting." The Chargers will have to even come to an agreement with the city first. Then IF the City/Chargers come to an agreement it will have to pass a public vote.
