Everyone is unproven at one point, in fact most of our 2016 current roster is "unproven"
Jeremy Hemsley Trey Kell- Struggled as freshman Max Hoetzel- Barely got off bench Zylan Cheatham Nolan Narain Matt Shrigley- Has been a inconsistent shooter
If we could get proven top 30 recruit transfers we'd take them too!
Winston Shepard Gone in 2016 Malik Pope possibly gone in 2016 Skylar Spencer gone in 2016 Angelo Chol gone in 2016 D Allen

That's always the case when bringing in High Schoolers and Transfers. You never know for sure......Just look where we were before Fish started getting some highly rated recruits and transfers......we were in the $h!++er for many years and look where we are now!.....so there is something to better rated players but no guaranteed results.

is there NO footage of him in college? I am fairly sure it's easy to get video of many tall basketball players shooting over short defenders in high school.

No college footage that I have found, he missed 10 games and then played a total of 166 minutes and hit 11 of 42 shots, 5 of 23 from three. He got as much time on the floor as Zabo and D'E Will.

I love to dream. I hope he is as good as advertised. i hate that he has to sit.

Aaron did not have a good year with the Cards . Or he would be back with them or numerous other schools would be after him . But Ducks , Huskies , USC are decent programs chasing him . So doubt he put together a high light reel . We are fortunate . Then again look at the stats of some guys from last year Max was 10 of 28 on threes , Zabo 4 of 14 (so same % as Max ) our JJ 11 of 35 , He knows he has something to prove , definitely major upside that could help us recruit a #30 rated guy and more important help the team toward MM . Do we believe or not ? Coaches can work with him during his red shirt season as they did with JJ , DP, X and Chol..... , so nothing to lose unless we can not sign him . but there incredible highlights of the HS All Star games he played in .

Yep, he hasn't proven he can hit the ocean from the Pier in college yet. 2-5 from the FT line; 32% inside the arc; 21% outside the arc. It's very possible he could have HS range from 3, and have a tough time adapting to college. He may end up being a slasher, but think with added strength he may improve his range.
A year of working on his body & his game will do him a world of good. It's obvious he didn't find any rhythm or confidence last year.
We'll see where he ends up?
