On the Chargers website are the free agents that have been invited, Chad is one of them. I hope he makes the team.

If they use 2-back sets with a fullback, I'd love to see him blocking for Gordon... that could be very productive. He'd also be a star on special teams.

I wish they would use the 2 back system, but I think that is the way of the past. Not many team use that system anymore. He would be an excellent special teams player for them.

He may never be a "Star" in The NFL but he can have a good career in multiple roles.

The second coming of Steve Hendrickson aka Rocket? Here's a pic of Chad stretching behind the Chargers new RB Melvin Gordon. Oldie Out

Sadly, this era of NFL football isn't geared to his skillset. He would be a starter about 10 years ago.

There is room for real fullbacks on rosters, not all teams understand that. I hope the Chargers get the value, Chad had been ones of my favorite players since I saw him in practice his red shirt year. He was always like a bowling ball knocking over pins.

Mark this thread
Chad young makes the team as the 4th back.
The Chargers have made an effort to bring in nasty guys and chad is nasty.
I see the Chargers using a lot of the information this year.
