But while you were watching LeBron on ABC, I was watching Kawai. Just trying to help.

If the Spurs don't get the ball to Kawhi more than what I observed in the 4th qtr. yesterday they could be done!

If the Spurs don't get the ball to Kawhi more than what I observed in the 4th qtr. yesterday they could be done! I see the Spurs having more problems then getting the ball to Kahwi. Tony Parker has bad wheels and can't get through an entire game. Patty Miles can't hang with C. Paul and is too small to guard Riddick. The Spurs defense was not very good yesterday, A. Rivers had 16 points, give me a break. The Clippers changed their defense on Kawhi and are double teaming him with their big guy when KL gets the ball near the sideline. Barnes and Riddick can't guard Kawhi. The Spurs didn't shoot the ball very well especially the bench. Unless the big three of the Spurs can be more productive the Spurs may bow out of the playoffs in the 1st round. I believe Kawhi is averaging over 20 points per game and close to double digits in rebounds. KL is doing his part now the rest of the team needs to pick up the slack.

I agree. Kawhi is very good but he is not superman. Wanted kawhi to get to the Finals again. But especially Parker's regression makes me doubt that will happen and Danny Green is becoming inconsistent. Spurs need Green to spread the floor for Parker but as noted its obvious Parker does not have the same game though he can still play just not playoff level play. Would be bummed for Kawhi.

I saw Parker and Duncan miss a lot of short tear drop & floater shots in the paint yesterday not a good Rx for success!

I think you all are missing it. This current roster isn't built around Kawhi. There are times it works but the Spurs can't force that to happen or you get inconsistent results.
They have to play like they have since the players all got healthy and let Kawhi be that piece that is more the X-factor when the opposition is forced to cover the big three in addition to him and the rotating hot hand they always seem to have in addition to those four.
He'll be the centerpiece in the next couple years. That article on Yahoo Sports yesterday that pointed him out as the recruiting key for the next Spurs team was a great take. If you didn't read it, look for it.
