This could be a very important week for MBB teams . April 21 ESPNU will televise a show where they anticipate 4 of the top 7 HS recruits could select their college #2 Jaylen Brown F . # 3 Malik Newman G , #5 Thon Maker 7ft C , #7 Cheick Diallo PF/C also #19 Brandon Ingram F . maybe others ? Also April 26 last date for College Players decision on NBA draft . ( Winston , S . Jefferson , Wood )
After that there could be a lot of movement by transfers to select a college for 2015.

Interesting comments by Fish on the radio, he said Malik would have been drafted but he is enjoying his college experience. As for Shep he has until the 25th to remove his name, but as of 4/20 he is still in. Something tells me that WSIII may be leaving even though players like Tarczewski, Wiltjer, York, Paige, Parker are coming back for their senior year.
I think Shep can have a break out year if he stays, he has been stagnant for the last year, after a big jump as a Frosh to Soph. With his talent he should be POY.

WS3 would be much better off as a player if he listened to the NBA guys, rather than anyone that might be whispering in his ear (including himself), I reckon.

A huge thing for us regarding senior transfers could be whether or not Stanley Johnson comes back for Arizona, because he hasn't decided yet.
I could honestly see a chance he comes back, after a pretty disappointing performance and exit in the tournament. This is a guy who is used to winning and won the state championship 4 years straight in high school.
That could be the difference for us getting Tollefson or not.

If Winston is still attending classes, he will be back. If he is not, he is gone. Maybe the Show knows.

Another poster in a different thread alleged that he talked to WS at the ARC recently. WS advised he was most likely going to return but wanted to let the drama play out until the deadline. This suggests to me that he wants more love and attention.

Would guess Winston similar to many guys change their mind , quite often , can be daily . So it all depends on where he is mentally . In his mind does he see himself going through school and playing college basketball or earning money some where in 2015 ? Where can he see himself gaining the most . Would be wise if he had a neutral party look at the draft list and tell him where he would currently sit . As we all know but only his decision maters but hope he realizes Europe will always be there .plus training camps for NBA teams. Leading the Aztecs to a SW16 or better finish could really boost his chances for the NBA draft .But as we know with Winston mind over matter .

Johnson is predicted to be a top 8 pick in the 2015 draft, I do not see him staying at U of A.

It really does make sense for him to withdraw his name only at the last moment... why not get your name out there as much as possible now, it can only help a year from now.

Howabout we get a surprise and Jaylen Brown chooses to go to SDSU I doubt Jaylen Brown could point out San Diego on the map, no disrespect to him or his school system.

PAC 12 vs MWC Rivals Top 150. With 10 uncommitted, PAC 12 = 25 recruits & MWC = 7 recruits. 9 of 12 PAC 12 schools had a top 150 pick, while only 4 of 11 MWC teams did. (SDSU, UNLV, BSU and FSU). Big MWC pick ups Zimmerman, Jones & Hemsley. The better teams: CSU, UNM and Wyo didn't have any top pics, nor did the lesser schools SJSU, AFA and UNR. In the PAC ASU, COL and WAZZU didn't get a top 150 pick yet.

ESPNU last night on their TV show about 2015 recruits . thought J. Brown was down to CAL and Michigan . also thought Hurley at ASU was going to be able to hit the ground recruiting , maybe to late for 2015 but 2016 could be on the up tick . 2016 SDSU and UNM both lost Verbals .
