But I think only 2 of those 5 Boise appearances count for a TV $$$ bonus (ESPN family counts, CBSSN does not, IIRC)?

Thank goodness we only got one. I wish it'd be an away game as Friday night home games suck. That's high school football night and our $#!+ attendance that night will reflect that.

So with the schedule looking like this:
10/3 FSU 10/10 Away 10/17 Away 10/23 Friday USU 10/31 Away 11/7 Bye 11/14 Wyo
Which between FSU or Wyo is homecoming?

You are correct, the bonus does not apply to CBSsn, and it doesn't apply to ESPNU or ESPN3 either The bonus applies to games on ABC, CBS, ESPN & ESPN2 that the MWC has the rights to ( home games) ... should the Boise St game @ Virginia or the SDSU game @ Cal get picked up by Fox or ESPN -- they will not count toward a bonus as the MWC does not control those rights.

Not a fan of the weekday games, including Friday.

Thank goodness we only got one. I wish it'd be an away game as Friday night home games suck. That's high school football night and our $#!+ attendance that night will reflect that. Our home attendance will be pretty much reflected by how we do against Cal and Penn St. Instead of getting curb stomped we need to prove we're competitive enough to beat them, like we did against UNC. So whatever happens against those two teams will measure the level of excitement and attendance as we go into conference play. So yeah, our performance in the OOC schedule is very significant. Our lousy MWC home schedule by itself won't cut it.

I love driving south from North County in rush hour traffic on a Friday. Really no better way to spend an evening. Complete nightmare. It took me two hours last year to drive from vista to the Q for the Air Force game. At least we have a 7:30 start and the game is on ESPN 2 this year

I like it. I work both Fridays and Saturdays so that doesn't matter, but at least this assures an evening starting time. I believe I saw it as 7:30 p.m.
