Great pick up for them. Nice to know U of A doesn't get all the top 25 west coast kids.

Actually, it is not a good thing. Now it makes Tolefsen more apt to go to U of A. Had Rabb gone, we would have had a better shot at this kid.

Maybe he just wanted to stay close to home.

Maybe he just wanted to stay close to home. That definitely played a large part in his decision. Also, education, as well. Though not really sure how much education one receives in 1 year on campus.

Arizona . Stanley Johnson no decision yet , recruiting class for the Wildcats includes top 20 Forward SF and Center/PF , plus red shirt Ryan PF Anderson . Kaleb C is also back . So there is going to be more competition for PT .
With Rabb will make our game with CAL in the Vegas T , very competitive to say the least . they also signed a 3 star guard. Would guess we play CAL - to make sure there is a West Coast team in the finals to play WVU/Richmond .

U of A has Ryan Anderson and Tarczewski that will start in the post. Plus 4 Stars Ray Smith and Chance Comanche coming in. Sure he would be in the rotation at UA, but if Tollefsen wants to start for a high level school, then SDSU is his best option. Also his girlfriend goes to USD... I still like our chances.

In addition to Rabb could CAL get the number #2 recruit Jaylen Brown?
Jaylen Brown has sliced his list of schools to California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan and North Carolina; Georgia, Georgia Tech and UCLA were the three schools Brown eliminated from consideration.

ESPNU thought J. Brown was down to CAL and Michigan , but that can change at any time. Duke just added another top 10 HS recruit .to play forward to replace Winslow .

Rabb was doing some heavy recruiting for Cal right after he won the state championship. Was it Brown he was Tweeting?
Cal is gonna be tough this year. They also have Stephen Domingo eligible.

CAL will be rated in the top 25 . Get J. Brown and they could be rated even higher . Battle for the PAC. Will easily be the highest rated team in the Las Vegas T we are in around Thanksgiving . Could play them in the Semis ?

All of a sudden our OOC schedule just got better with CAL and Kansas building top recruiting classes, Utah is looking strong and with the possibility of playing WVA too. That is potentially 4 Top 25 teams, and once we hit the conference schedule: UNLV will be in contention for the MWC Title with Zimm City. Boise should be strong with Drmic back; let's see how they hold up against Zona in Nov. UNM adds two good transfers as well.

No, Cal has no business being in the top 25 with what they have coming back. They return 1 good offensive player off a dreadful offense and not a great defense. They look like a bubble team as is.

Disagree. They're backcourt is very potent. Mathews, Wallace & Bird are all extremely talented and were really hurt by injuries last year. Wallace is a likely NBA player, or fringe player. Singer will be a more than capable back-up. What they're really missing is 1 more inside player, unless they plan on playing Rabb at the 4. Although raw, Okoroh could also develop into a pretty good post player and has great size (7'1).

Wallace is extremely inefficient as he is he is just a chucker.
