Believe Hawaii already had on its website they would be playing @ SDSU for one of the games , would guess it would be easiest if they also play CAL . Same with Sam Houston State . Staying in the West. Wonder if games will be Saturday & ? or Sunday and ? The Semis seem to be in Vegas on Thanksgiving 11/26 , Finals on Friday 11/27. All semis and finals games at New Orleans Hotel. Those Games televised by Fox Sport 1 .
11/13 : Illinois State @ SDSU . Kansas 12/22 @ SDSU
Not sure if we have dates for @ Utah , @ Long Beach or the PETCO Game with USD or Grand Canyon ?

Sam Houston State went 26-9 last year and 15-3 in the Southland. They kept in close vs UNLV 59-57 but lost and 66-63 versus Texas AM. SHSU finished with #95 RPI ranking, so Top 100 team last year.

Does add to our OOC schedule . Will be interesting to see the match ups for Vegas games . But the Hawaii and SHSU games could a also be decent . As we know the OOC schedule can be even more important then MW . Although Rebels and BSU will be far superior then the teams we faced in MW last year , favored to win it. Would be nice if Aztecs , Rebels and BSU were all in top 25 .

As many of us predicted Caleb S . will be going to Purdue not CAL . But would guess CAL will still be a top 25 team and the top rated team in the T . Will be interesting to see what the match ups are for the 4 top teams for the semis in Vegas . Do they have Aztecs CAL to make sure there is a team from the West in Finals or try to get both in by the schedule.

Hawaii self imposed sanctions for MBB rules violations as of 5/15 according to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, They will vacate 36 victories, reduce scholarships and practice time, pay a $10,000 fine, and place itself on one-year probation for violations of NCAA rules by its men's basketball program. The also fired head basketball coach Gib Arnold in October as the NCAA investigated alleged rule violations They may be "good on the floor" but have issues do deal with and will vacate those 20 wins from last season.

Richmond's shot blocking center has decided to transfer out. He did not score much but averaged two blocks a game . Also one of their better rebounder , So sure looks as though Richmond will be the weakest of the 4 "host " teams

If this has been posted my apologies. Seems some different teams are being mentioned for Vegas tournament.
Same 4 bigs but then other 4 are East Carolina, Stetson, Bethune Cookman and tbd. I live in Dayton and get Richmond info. Talk is BCkman headed west as 1 of 2 playing at Cal and SDSU. Shame as I'll be going to Vegas and wanted to watch Sam Houston. Also heard Hawaii pulled due to sanctions. Bad rpi team in BC for SDSU. Also prevailing theme is W Va will meet SDSU IN semi as Huggybear didn't want Richmond in semis due to possible recruiting damage if lost and tournament wants 2 power 5 schools in champ game. Thought these pieces of info would be interesting for you folks. Who knows if entirely true.

Believe you are correct there are currently only 7 teams with the "TBA" . Do not see Hawaii or Sam Houston as participants in the event now.

Good to see semis vs Cal. Hoping a win will get WVU in finals and a solid Nov schedule could benefit come March. I think playing Cal then WVU w/their style will help going frwd more than playing Rmond who rely a lot on 3s.

NC schedule is shaping up nicely. If they can split the wins against Cal, WVU (if they play), Utah, & Kansas that will give them some nice RPI numbers. Add in Illinois State and LBS and which will likely be wins and they will be looking good going into conference.

CAL will be heavy favorite . If we lose we would only play Richmond , who has lost a lot of cred . Still wondering who the 2 teams we play in the first round home games at Viejas ? This T is Not one that I would do again . Any word on 2016 ?
