I think the addition of Musselman at Nevada and Bobby Hurley at ASU will make recruiting more competitive for the MW schools. We'll see in the future as the novelty wears off. I'd add Bland at USC to this list.

Not sure if you noticed by LA City Section POY PG Lindsey Drew was signed by Nevada after decomitting from ASU. Drew played at Fairfax HS and is the son of NBA player Larry Drew and brother of Larry Drew II who played at UNC and UCLA and now in the D League.
Look for Nevada to raise their program under new Coach Musselman. Drew selected Nevada over USC and ASU, Musselman can sell it.

Not sure why these players keep going to UA. SDSU was beating them pretty regularly until Miller started recruiting every stud in Cali. However, the Aztecs still have been very close to beating them on a neutral court. I think they could have beaten them a couple of times had the games been at Viejas. Why leave San Diego for the desert when the fan atmosphere is just as good or better, the team is almost as good, and you get to live in San Diego. I'm not sure what you mean by saying we were beating UA pretty regularly, because we have only won 2 out of the past 12 games we have played with them. Yes, we did win two straight in 2009 & 2011, but that was when Miller first started coaching them, and they had pretty poor teams at that time. Not any more. They have always recruited well in SD, so that is nothing new. Just more of the same as usual, and we have to compete to stay with them.

Another offer to an Aztec possibility The guy has a ton of offers and none are from SDSU. I.am not sure what you mean by " Aztec possibility." Johnson was on the radar from June 2014 when SDSU drew interest in him, but Yes no Offer. "Jayce Johnson, a 6'11'' center out of Earl Watson's Elite squad who lives in San Juan Capistrano, California has also received an offer for the 2016 recruiting class. Texas, Vanderbilt, Washington, WSU, Notre Dame, Utah, BC, Colorado, ASU, CAL, UCLA, Harvard, SDSU, Maryland, Tulsa, Pepperdine, Princeton, GCU have all reached out to the big man, as well."

Any of those players are ours if we want them. Good point. Generally speaking, it doesn't take much to scare our fan base. I mean, who cares what Musselman is doing? Good for him, no school should remain static. If he out recruits our staff what does that say about Fisher & Company? We're on a higher plane as well we should be.

First, you need to cite your source and provide a link, not lift copy wholesale. Second, that's pretty weak to consider as a "possibility." Reached out? What does that even mean? Ask someone if they have seem his play?

Nevada over the weekend added Freshman Cameron Oliver 6'8"( not an SD local) . He was a 2014 recruit for the Beavers but never enrolled . Have two other freshman , plus JC transfers and others . They will be an improved team in 2015 and could be even better in 2016 as more transfers become eligible .
