Very positive article. If everyone can stay reasonably healthy it sounds like it should be an interesting season.

I've been saying this all off season. Trey Kell will be proving a lot of people wrong next year. He played the hardest position on the court to make a jump from high school to college. Being the main ball handler, you have a lot of responsibility. Learning when to get your own points vs when to get other players involved takes time. Remember people HE WAS A FRESHMAN!!! Trey Kell showed this past year he could create his own shot off the dribble, he also was pretty good at finishing at the rim. His main problem was adjusting to the speed of the game. Playing against better athletes makes you play faster and i feel like sometimes Trey rushed open shots(Duke game was a great example of this). Dealing with pressure from better athletes he was use to coming from high school bothered him at times. His handles need to improve but that's what an off season is all about, to improve on things you need to work on. IMO Trey Kell is a pick and roll/pop type of point guard, something we couldn't really do last year because of our bad shooting. With Pope and Shrigley on the court with Kell next year, that should create more space for him to play his game. I seem to be the only one on this board excited about Trey Kell next year and I don't know why that is. I really think he's going to be a star for SDSU +1

I just think he's better at the #2 getting the ball dished to him from a penetrating guard that draws the defense in and Trey swishing open look mid range jumpers and 3's! Im just not sold on his handles and quickness......I to think he will be a star and wish him the best. If he can compete and in the coaches views win the starting PG position KUDOS to him! I think he has better value at the #2...JMO

He was the only one who could bring the ball up court under pressure and create space.
