So did JH play more PG or SG or both ? He predominantly played PG for Damien... but again, absolutely nothing could be learned from this game. He had about 12 inches and 40-50 lbs. on the Campo PG. Damien, as far as I could tell... does not run an offense. JH takes his man off the dribble (tonight, all it took was half a head fake and he was by his defender), the entire defense collapses and he kicks the ball to an open wing (who proceeds to shoot the ball immediately). JH is the only guy on the team who looks to pass the ball. If you had no idea who JH was prior to the game... just watching tonight's game... you could easily tell he was BY FAR the most talented player on the court. He almost looked bored at times tonight. He's got a chance to be REAL GOOD. Will be fun to see him on the court with Malik, Z and Shep (hopefully). As far as I can tell we don't run an offense either. He'll fit right in.

Mater Dei and Bishop O'Dowd game on... Rex Pflueger looks like the real deal. ND is getting a good one.

Bishop O'Dowd's PG... Paris Austin, has signed with Boise State. Lighting quick, GREAT passer. Exactly what we need at PG.

MJ misses a WIDE OPEN layup at the buzzer that would have won the game. Heading in to OT.

Bishop O'Dowd wins in OT, that miss by Cage in regulation hurts.

Agree the PG Paris Austin 20 points and 10 rebounds was great .heading to BSU to replace Marks - BSU will have Austin , Dremic , Webb , Duncan as a great nucleus and be the favorite in MW. Raab was also a stud , at PF , believe he will decide between two PAC schools stay near by at CAL or off to Arizona .
Rex can also score , going to help N.D.
M.Cage has good potential , needs to add to his frame and touch near the basket . Heads off to the summer circuit then onto his senior year of HS .
did not watch the game Ben Kone played will be on replay this week also the game JH played.

Based only on last night's game (the first time I've ever seen Cage play)... he doesn't appear to have a real strong desire to be a basketball player. He looks like a kid who is only playing hoops because A) He's 6'9" and B) His Dad was a stud and had a long NBA career. I'll give him a pass on the missed put-back as time expired. He was being undercut by a defender. He should have been shooting free-throws instead of Ivan Rabb (at the end of OT). A few people have noted that Kentucky has backed-off, and I gotta believe that is 100% true. He doesn't have anywhere near the athleticism of the types of big men that Kentucky recruits. For those who wonder about Marcus Lee being stuck at the end of the Kentucky bench... Cage would never see playing time there.
