It must suck for Hageman to hear his own teammates taunting him like that during practice, but for sure they are helping him to toughen up mentally for real game time.
As for the O-Line, it is quite worrisome. Are the other RGs not good enough so that Craighead had to convert from TE?

Good to hear the QB competition is in full gear. I would like to know if Ryan Crum the JC center is involved and how he is doing? Also, the JC WR Anderson how he is doing? I would expect that the AZTEC coaches are looking to see if the upper-classmen that changed positions like Craighead will be able to compete to play or back-up last years starters, so at this point I don't expect that they have beat a starter from last year out....walkonfan..

believe Rocky said in his PC that all 6 QB's will set reps for the first two weeks then cut that down to 3 starting week 3 . Nice to read the very athletic Cumberlander 6'3" and Micah are doing well at WR's , with Chase F as a route runner/ possession receiver . Would guess with the injuries this is a great time to look at guys in various positions.

With the O-line in flux, it's best to see how good our 2nd, 3rd string QBs will be. Because our O-line may not protect our starting QB from injury.
Oldie Out

Oldie Out I guess this is what Rocky meant when he said injuries may decide which QB starts since he said in most scrimmages they won't be protected by the red jersey.

Tod is quite definitive here about what he likes and does not like about Smith and Rodrigues in that order. Rodrigues is now fourth of the six? Wow! But, the QB derby is only heading into the backstretch at this point. Not to worry about the OL this early. I, too, am wondering about the whereabouts of Darrell Green at RG. Like what I am reading about Micah Holder. He looks like a receiver, but QK could not get him the ball last year. Improved competition is the rule now in Aztec football, a very good thing.

Yes, he (Tod) was specific and presented it all as his own opinion. It will be interesting to see his follow ups. He really likes that Ky Xfer, which is great. Imagine if we actually had a QB that could thread some needles.
