Doubleheader sweep of SJSU 4-2, 7-5 Dare to think this program just might finally live up to its potential is tempting. As usual, I'll be in Vegas on March 27th for some night baseball under the commercial jets. I would love nothing more than to see a legitimate top 25 caliber Aztec team. I know this has happened before but this is new leadership, with all due respect to TG.

Believe the baseball game is at 1 PM tomorrow, you could do the double header, assuming you have/can get tickets to both. If baseball game runs a little long you could leave early if wanted.

That is my plan for tomorrow, unless the weather is uncooperative ... I would not like to sit through the basketball game soaking wet

What a great start. Martinez is proving to be a very good leader in this Season that we pay tribute to Tony.

Where's the goof who said Martinez was a token hire who can't coach at this level and we should have interviewed a real coach?
Congrats to the team. Great to see them off to a great start and really paying tribute to Gwynn!

Scheduled for 1pm today. But I don't know if they'll get it in. Raining in PB now. If not, it'll be moved to tomorrow. But that may not be much better.

Bubba's had a nice career at SDSU Led league in saves as a Freshman, 2nd team all-conference 1st team all conference last year as our Friday starter. 8-3 record 3.08 era I look for another good year outta Bubba

Credit certainly goes to Martinez for changing his approach. I think the most positive change has been the addition of coach Powlowski and assistants Oliveira & Pullen. State has always recruited good players, players that are consistently drafted and play at next level. What I see is a coaching staff finally providing players the support they need to be successful on the field

SDSU has not made a error in the last 4 games, not often you see that at college level, coming into yesterday SDSU was 24th with a 980 fielding percentage, certainly goes up with 2 more errorless games.
