in an article in the UT , by T. Leonard . WR coach Cooper is being described as a very motivational , vocal , inspirational coach ,who is already getting a lot more physical actions from his "green inexperienced " group of WR's . He actively gets involved in many aspects of the actual drills , then meets with the WR's showing them film of their clips from last year and compares them with their actions from this year , then lets them tell the coach what they are doing better or worse , learning to complete / finish plays . From executing the route , catching the ball , after the catch or ever blocking for a team mate . Both mental and physical

I enjoyed the article. It was time for a change. The WR's failed to improve as a group last year and needed kick in the ass.

Yeah thats what coaches do. They motivate player and make them accountable. Unfortunetely, Rockys rolodex card holder had a bunch of dinosaurs when he was initially hired. His whole entire coaching staff was eligible for ARRP benefits.

You would think. But when older people check out mentally and physically several years before retiring they do no good for the organization. I would take in a heart beat some one with 10 years of experiance in their early 40s over some one with 35 years of experiance in their late 60s. The 40 year old would bust his behind to be the next CEO or HC.

We should be thankful Sipe got "canned" as well. Had he stuck around all this work Cooper is doing would go to waste with a confused QB.

Don't get old. You will get replaced when you do. What go's around comes around. Try to remember how you though all our coaches where on ARRP. Well there are a lot members of ARRP that don't know what they stand for, so for that reason they might not know much, but that is not all age related.
There just are not many one word answers. We stared out with all young no name coaches. Now that might be a reason to start over. It was all money related. I tell people we don't cheat to win like the big schools, because we don't have the money to do so.
