Seems high to me. I haven't checked it against Kenpom or Sagarin. SDSU Sat Feb 28 48 Boise St. W, 61-55 60 75% Home ×

This game does worry me, just like CSU did....SDSU winning 75% of the time is probably about right but teams like Boise that can score and shoot the ball well have the best chance against SDSU, even at Viejas. That being said, the crowd will be a huge factor as we all know that a win on Saturday locks up the MW Regular Season title (outright as SDSU is NOT losing v Nevada on Senior Night). SDSU actually did a pretty good job on Marks - only 11 points until 8 garbage-time FT towards the end - and only gave up 61 points overall (the problem was SDSU only getting 10 points in the first 15 minutes).

The Show better SHOW. Guard the arc, stop the transition and throw the by to JJ more down low.

If we don't give Duncan and Webb more than a few wide open three-point shots, we will beat the spread. Marks is going to get his points, but he can't beat us by himself.

I think they're going to target Marks. We had a week to concoct a plan plus the teams wants payback for his hot dogging us in Boise.

Webb was their best when we played them up there. The announcers told us that coach Rice brought him in as a counter to our guys. Physically, he is a typical Fisher/Aztec player, I do not think he holds up the other standards. They had to hide him in some vey remote JC so they could get his grades up and settle him down. Then, his first season on campus, they redshirted him.

Marks is a beast and will keep them in the game. He's having the best single season the Mountain West has seen since Jimmer. My thought is not as good as x last season. He is scoring a few more point but on an offense that scores more than last year's Aztecs. Look at the OOC competition of the 2 teams. Look at the defensive skills. Then look at the team results... X was the Aztecs last year. Marks is not best draft possibility on his team and I will be shocked if he gets drafted.

X was the Aztecs last year. Marks is not best draft possibility on his team and I will be shocked if he gets drafted. Marks is having a better season than X did last year.. by some margin. He just hasn't has the team around him to be a top 15 team like SDSU had last year. The dude is shooting 48% from 3 point range. FORTY EIGHT PERCENT. I REPEAT FORTY EIGHT PERCENT. That is unfathomable over the length of a full season. 52% FG shooter for someone that shoots as much as him, and from the distance he does.. is just insane. He's averaging the same amount of assists as X did and he's not a point guard. And getting drafted has nothing to do with it, X was drafted and he hasn't played a single game in the NBA but nobody would question his quality in college. This is obviously taking nothing away from X. The dude was the best player in the conference, and the Aztecs relied more on him over a full season than they ever have on anybody. If Marks was on a top 25 team he would be a borderline first team all american. He's the best player in the country nobody talks about.
