This is big! Getting a player from the WA "beach" is quite a get for SDSU! Normally Lorenzo Romar rules recruiting WA city kids. I don't think SDSU has gotten a kid of this stature and talent since that putz Jason Hamilton hosed SDSU by walking away after being named WAC POY long ago!

SWEET! Sounds like a kid who wants to get some SUNSHINE & get out of dodge, which is awesome. Didn't RB play in the HS Holiday tournament here??
Congrats to the staff. 2016 is obviously off on the right foot!
Now let's get a big guy or two, PLEASE! : )

Cant ever go wrong with a kid from a top 10 national program who has a 3.9 GPA. But we're all thinking it....can he the shoot ball, or is he another athlete with raw offense?

Per espn scouting report: "Smith has an ideal Division I frame with very long arms. He is an even keel prospect that rarely gets rattled under pressure. He has a terrific pull-up game with a smooth shooting stroke. He can slash his way to the rim for the finish or nail the mid-range pull-up"

Thank God...I love our current players, but when you say 4 star recruit...you kind of expect the kid to be a LITTLE good at shooting. Sounds like he's just that. awesome! Im pumped. On to M.J. now

There are a bunch of really good players on his HS team. Great for him to play and develop with those guys and helps the Aztecs make inroads for possible future players from Seattle.

Good news is that even though he is sitting out his junior year, he still has another year of playing before coming to SDSU in a year and half.

Didn't realize he'd had 2 surgeries. That's a little concerning.
