Seems like the only reason Zach Collins has UNM ahead of SDSU (according to this site) has to be because Cage is likely coming here so Collins won't get as much PT. It might sound small minded of me, but I just don't understand why anyone would choose UNM over SDSU outright If Cage intends to play as a 4, Collins would have the inside track to the 5... I would think the prospect of playing as a front line starting tandem with Cage would be a good draw for him! If we miss on Collins we could take a transfer center this coming season to let Michael know he is looked upon as a 4. That center would be ready to play in 2016 when Michael arrives.

There's no reason they can't play together, and dominate the team scoring. (It's just building a dominant Final Four team).

#30 Vance Jackson - SDSU (37% - was 36%), Cal (26%), UofA (18%), UConn (15%) #36 MJ Cage - SDSU (44% - was 43%), UCLA (31%), UK (21%) #57 Zach Collins - NM (34%), SDSU (27% - No Change), Cal (25%), UNLV (11%) #59 Keith Smith - SDSU Commitment#103 Brandon Cyrus - SDSU (75% - was 87%), UNLV (14% - NEW), USD (9%) #125 Justin Moore - SDSU ( 52% - was 51%), USC (38%), ASU (10%) #145 Nolan Narian - SDSU (45% - No Change), Gonzaga (15%), Dayton (12%), Florida (10%) I would be shocked if Zach Collins goes to NM. I expect him to go to Gonzaga, but yet they're not even listed. Makes me question the reliability of PASR forecast

I expect Collins to cut his list to Gonzaga, SDSU, and Utah pretty soon.

Yep, I agree with fisherville on this one. Ultimately I think he's a Zag, but I like our chances against just about anyone not named Kentucky, Arizona, or Duke these days.

Cage is too much of a stiff to play the 4 in our system, as all our "power" forwards have the ability to switch and guard the perimeter, something Cage would have a hard time doing. Still, it would be nice to land either him or the more athletic canadian player Nolan Narain to play the 5.

T.Maker ( a 7 ft center) rated #1 has switched from 2016 to 2015 . Will be a 1 and done if he goes to college in the US or goes abroad. So every one on the 2016 list moved up . as mentioned Collins is in Gonzaga this weekend for the Zags senior night game vs BYU . Then the WCC plays their tournament in Las Vegas the following week ,his home next week . The week after both PAC and MW play their tournaments in Vegas . So would guess he will get a good look at the Zags and or other possible teams he is considering , to assist him in his selection . you know Zag fans will fill the place in Vegas . So should be interesting to see what he thinks after that and then seeding for MM .

If Cage is as good as he is rated, he can come here and we will fit the system to the players we have. It was just a few years ago we played 4 guards. We started this year with 4 forwards. There are many ways to win.

Cage, ranked around # 36, is a stiff and Narian, ranked around # 144, is more athletic? Are you a troll?

Cage, ranked around # 36, is a stiff and Narian, ranked around # 144, is more athletic? Are you a troll? To be fair, Narian could still be more athletic than Cage (I have no idea) and MJ still be the better prospect (by 100+ spots according to most).

Cage, ranked around # 36, is a stiff and Narian, ranked around # 144, is more athletic? Are you a troll? Jamaal Franklin, Dwayne Polee & Billy White were not 4 star recruits or even top 100 players out of hs, yet they were better athletes then everyone else. Like i said yesterday and i stand by my comment MJ Cage is a big stiff, think James Johnson with basketball IQ, which will make him good enough to be on our team anyway, but not a big time player.

UK & AZ don't usually recruit big stiffs. Do they have it wrong on MJ CAGE?

UK & AZ don't usually recruit big stiffs. Do they have it wrong on MJ CAGE? Arizona did recruit James Johnson and Angelo Chol, bruh. I guess Kentucky have a need for a warm, big body for their players to $#!+ on in practice. He will never see the floor at UK.

There are a lot of very good players that aren't great athletes. This is not track, it is basketball.

Looks like the predications haven't change for SDSU since the last update (2/19). Will be curious to see if the recent visit by Cage and Narian help our cause in getting them to come here.

Do you still think Jackson is an option for SDSU .? At least Cage , NN ,Moore have been to a recent game . Collins after visiting Aztecs, has been visiting quite a few schools , then could be watching teams in Vegas play tournaments . Zags are in the final of WCC T. Then comes the PAC ( Utah , CAL ) and MW ( Aztecs , Lobos)
