I am not sure why this hasn't gotten more play around these parts, but SDSU signed two Rivals 4 stars. LB Kyahva Tezino and WR Desean Holmes. This is huge, making this the highest rated recruiting class of the internet era and probably ever. I guess star ranking really don't matter... until you get a few 4 stars.

Probably because the 'Star" rating system holds about as much merit as the BCS approach. Funny how if a kid is recruited by the SEC (aka SUC)he somehow gets an additional star. Whereas if that same kid first gets recruited by the Pac 12 or MWC he will be 1 star short until the SUC shows interest.
I like the fact we got lots of two sport athletes. Size this year=WOW! Very good class on paper!

The biggest plus about signing the higher rated guys (aside from obvious talent level), is that it shows other highly ranked players that SDSU is a destination school. Granted, we're not UCLA or USC or anything, but if a guy is teetering between us and BYU or a lower level PAC school, they see the roster and see big names that they know, it definitely helps lure them in.
