Obviously you COMPLETELY misunderstood my comment. I am hoping that the court is renamed for Coach Fisher long before he retires. As far as respecting him, I now place Coach Fisher right up there next to Don Coryell. I never thought any one connected with SDSU would come close to matching Coryell. Steve Fisher has. I accept your apology. smh I don't understand your problem here. You misinterpret my post, which others had no problems understanding. You accuse me of disrespecting Coach Fisher, and then tell me I should have more class. I patiently explain what was meant by my post and graciously accept the apology I thought you'd feel obliged to offer, and you shake you head at me. Maybe you should consider taking your own advice about class.

Uhhh, guys: Athletics has nothing to do with the naming. Associated Students owns and runs the arena, they decide all that stuff. Athletics will (rightly) name the court after him at some point for the cost of a ceremony, a decal and a court resurfacing. AS will continue selling 10 year leases to the name of the arena.

Thank you. As I read through this thread, I was waiting for someone to finally say this. The naming rights are the Associated Students' decision. It should and will be the court that is named after Fish. Go Aztecs! -BRB
