I'm not sure. It looks like his home state schools didn't offer either. I still wouldn't trust the level of competition since those AZ schools he played had lousy seasons. That has some to do with his great stats. However, the guy should have some 4-year offers...even FCS.

If he's as good as his press, he should have no problem walking on somewhere and earning a scholarship. Methinks he might not be as good as his Dad and the rest of his HS staff think.....

Here is me trying to find reasons why people aren't interested. It's tough and I'm reaching on his negatives.
I swear that I watched about 10 minutes of highlights of him and not once did I see him under center. I've also seen some still photos of him holding the ball and his hands seem smaller, at least compared to another picture of a QB recruit that I was looking at. There is also a slight hitch in his throwing motion. Right before he moves his hand forward to throw the ball there is a slight hesitation, which I think is due to having smaller hands. It's like he's cocking his wrist to compensate for his grip.
He throws a really good ball and can spin the ball well over 50 yards. I would love to see him prove the doubters wrong because he should have offers.

Try the JUCO route and see if that opens up the eyes of D1 schools.

Rocky surely has lots of New Mexico coaches in his sphere of influence. They'd go to bat for the kid if they truly thought he was the real deal!

Being in New Mexico does hurt him, but if he's as good as he is and wants to be noticed, keep pushing on.
Oldie Out
