Saw the halftime score with CSU up 10 at half, figured that would be a done deal, forgot to check back, would have liked to see that one down the stretch.
Did Eustachy give Fish and the Aztecs more love after this game?
Wonder if this was a physical or mental letdown after the win over us, which was probably their biggest win in 10+ years. After being up 10 at half tonight, maybe they let up just a little.

Boise was sticking around until about 4 minutes left to play, and got the fortune of a few calls their way, a few timely stops, and a few great shots by Marks. They'll be tough in a couple weeks at the Taco, still think we'll wax CSU at home. Wasn't a letdown game, IMO, just got beat. I'd also say their wins over us and over Missouri in the NCAAs were much bigger wins, though we have hit some daggers in that building over the years. DJGAYYYYYYYY

Larry Eustacy cost his team the game. He had a meltdown when they were leading by 5 with 2+ minutes to play, giving two ft's and possession. The guy is one of the great personalities in the league...unfortunately, his loose cannon routine (remember his meltdown early in our game?) is not good for the Rams. Can't wait for the rematch here to see what the Show will cook up for him.

Can you believe CSU is leading the conference with two brand new low-end transfers and a returning Navy transfer? Besides Bejarano they have no top recruits. He's a top notch coach who cannot control his emotions. Am I correct remembering he almost had a physical altercation with one of his players at Viejas last year?

Can we be real . The MW is a weak conference . There are two teams that played decent OOC games and actually beat a decent PAC school SDSU and UNLV . there are also two teams that can recruit top 50 recruits SDSU and UNLV . The other schools in the conference are having difficulties recruiting top 50 recruits, the life blood of establishing a true program , They are going to need to build on transfers. CSU has 3 fifth year seniors , plus a fourth year junior and another junior in their starting line up . Still think the MW is a 3 bid league ? As for coaches , it is time for the refs to enforce the coaches box . T up the coaches who do not stay in them or toss rhem. Coach during practice and time outs and let the players play the game . Coaches that think they are more important then the game do not deserve any praise . The CSU coaches and other like him are not an example of a real good coach by their behavior on the court .

Wasn't it Bejarano who mouthed off to him in the huddle during a TO (which caused him to be benched) that you're thinking of? The CSU games are my favorite conference games to watch on TV because u know LE is always good for at least one meltdown + he always gives the best (i.e. brutally honest) halftime an postgame interviews.

Ya, him and Bejarano almost went at t on the bench at Viejas last season, part of me thinks that's why Danny B came out with a fire lit under his arse against us at Fort Collins, he was playing with some serious angst. I expect the Show to give them both all they can handle in our field house when they visit. Also, very nice of Boise to play nice and beat CSU for us, I believe the winner of the league will have 4 losses, so the more the middle of the pack can beat each other up, the better for the guys up top.....which is us!

If trying to attack him in a head-long charge during a time out can be considered "mouthing off".

CSU and BSU are both very good teams. CSU will probably get a chance to show that in the NCAA Tournament.

Still think the MW is a 3 bid league ? Well, last question first - we can be if someone not named SDSU or CSU wins the MW tourney. That much is hard to debate. First question - sure. Second question - can you name any one of our consensus top 50 recruits? Where did we recruit guys like Zo Wade, Habel, Malcolm, Xavier from - you know, the guys we established a true program with?

You don't think we're where we are due to transfers?
BTW, Top 50 recruits are not the lifeblood of college basketball programs. It's finding kids like Marks & Nance & Harris - you wouldn't want to build around either of those 2? BSU has a top 100 recruit - he's done nothing.
Yes, I still believe this is a 3 bid league, assuming Wyoming and/or CSU don't trip up often & finish in the top 3 in the league. If they drop to 4th behind a BSU or someone like that, then doubt they'll get the 3rd bid w/o winning the conference tourney. SDSU & CSU will be in.

Would love to have been a fly in that huddle.
